Three Years

It’s a sunny day.

A carriage enters the capital gate, the guards salute with respect as it passed by.

Three years after he was appointed as a diplomat, Asher finally comes home to Solas.

The carriage stopped at a mansion located at the heart of Solas.

“What an honour, you just got back and my house is the first place you grace with your presence.” Damon commented as he drink coffee

“I’m just not very thrilled to see my grandfather in my own residence.” Asher responded with a shrug as he drink coffee comfortably at Damon’s mansion.

“With your big brother missing, you’re the only heir to the dukedom. Is your grandfather still treating you like air at home?” Damon

“Worse. He’s nagging me to get married as soon as possible. I prefer when he’s ignoring me. He keeps sending me letters persuading me to propose to the youngest princess of Solair.” Asher sighed

“No wonder you don’t wanna go home.” Damon chuckled

Asher didn’t bother denying those words.

“By the way, you’re quiet lucky to come back at this time. Otherwise, you wouldn’t see me anymore.” Damon

Asher’s expression changed immediately, “Are you serious? You still look quite healthy to me.” He said dramatically.

“.......” The veins on Damon’s forehead bulged out of immense fury. Fnck you, I’m not saying I’m dying!

“It’s a joke.” Asher smiled innocently

“Dude, you’ll never change. You still speak and act like a devil but smiles like an angel. It’s annoying.” Damon

“Thanks for the compliment but that won’t ease my anger. I’m still furious how Leona made me a escape goat for you three years ago.” Asher

“Clearly, Im her favourite bestfriend. It’s already been three years, come on, moved on dude.” Damon

Asher decided to be the bigger person and just forgive his bestfriends. “Anyway, is Leona still not back? And what do you mean I almost miss you? Are you going somewhere?”

“Leona is still not back. And yes, we’re planning to move to the South because Alicia is pregnant with our first child. Her pregnancy is very sensitive.” Damon

Asher’s eyes widen in shock, “Bro, you’re gonna become a dad? You?”

“Why do you look so surprise?” Damon asked in annoyance. Masyado bang mahirap paniwalaan?

“Congrats.” This time, Asher said it sincerely.

“Tsk, stop acting so cheesy. Gross.” Damon complained

Asher simply chuckled, “Why the South? Why don’t you go to the prosperous West instead?”

“We have a vacation house in the South. And Alicia likes the sea.” Damon

“By the way, what realm are you now?” Damon added

“Dragon Realm, Level 6.” Asher answered with a smirk

Damon’s eyes twitch, “Tsk, I bet you just stay indoors and paint all day. How are you still ahead of me?”

“Clearly, I’am way more talented than you are.” Asher
