Pop.

One pill.

Pop.

Another, I guess.

Some more won't hurt.

I tilted the bottle upwards, pills gathering in the cup of my palm.

Maybe paradise was worth the dizzy drive.

Anything just to get it all down.

She couldn't find these. She would be devastated to know.

I couldn't let her know.

She couldn't find out, no one could.

It had to be a secret.

"You want one?" I turned to ask him.

"Sure, give like seven."

"Feeling brave?" I scoffed.

"Feeling tired." He responded in a hoarse tone.

I handed the handful of pills, the small echos of the pills meeting one another filled the silent room.

The small space, where we sat, was fogged up, the warm water from the shower head making it all too blurry.

I threw my head back and downed the drugs, cupping my hand to my mouth, dry swallowing.

"We have water y'know." He said, grabbing the bottle, the crinkles catching my attention.

In my already delirious state, I could barely mutter a response let alone an excuse.

He downed the pills, chasing them with water, gulping desperately.

The steam filled our lungs as the medication raced through our systems.

Anything to get it all down.

"Izuku? Hon, you almost done?" My girlfriend spoke, knocking in the door.

"About to towel up."

"Okay." She confirmed, in a slightly cheerful tone.

"You need to go." I turned to him, a serious tone on my tongue.

"Okay, see you at work."

"Whatever." I muttered.

He stood up, and crawled out of the window, right beside the mirror, and closed it shut on the outside.

I sighed, and shoved the bottles of pills under the cabinet, in the toilet cleaner container.

I coughed briefly, and walked over to the shower curtain, stripping my clothes.

I hopped in and snatched the curtain back.

I let the water trickle through ny hair and down my body.

A burn in my back made me hiss in pain, taking a sharp inhale, as the water made contact.

A slight tap from outside the shower caught my attention.

I pulled the curtain back to investigate, seeing him tapping at the window.

I nodded, annoyedly, and waited for him to finish his interruption.

He pulled the window up slightly.

"What the hell do you want?" I hissed, my knuckles wrapping around the curtain covering myself as the water continued to punish my burns.

"Meet me at Mina's tomorrow at eleven." He spoke, closing the window back before I got a chance to answer his demand.
