Bass shook the house, it had come down to the day of the party and the excitement in the air was relentless.
I walked up to the house, staring up at the horrendous Halloween decorations, I guess it was time to have fun (?)
My feet carried me towards the door, cheerful (for a Halloween party) music played as I opened the door.
I had gotten there a little late because I had to work later than expected.
“Hey girl! So glad you could make it!” Ashido smiled, laughing with a cup in hand.
“You’re a little young to drink, don’t you think?” I smiled, scoffing at her antics as she danced around me.
“Oh please, what’s the point in your parents dying, if you can’t get a big house and a wine cellar for free!” She yelled, pushing her drink into the air excitedly, almost proud to be intoxicated.
She was hurting, her parents had just passed two months prior to today, so I guess I should let her be.
“Oh look, there’s Tsu! Hey girl!” She yelled as she drunkenly stumbled towards the green haired girl.
“This is the stupidest party.” An angry voice spoke from beside me.
“It’s not that bad.” I laughed it off.
I turned to look at the source, seeing Bakugo standing there, but instead of with a cup of alcohol, he had a Capri Sun pack.
“It is when you don’t drink.” He said, taking a slurp of his corn syrup drink.
“Have you seen Izuku?”
“No.” He said. “I haven’t.”
“Okay, thank you, I’m just trying to look for him-”
“He might be in the bathroom, throwing up.” He interrupted me, taking a sip of his drink immediately after saying so.
I nodded and walked past him, towards the stairs.
My hand latched onto the rail, pushing past drunk teenagers and young adults as I walked upstairs.
Finally, reaching the carpet covered floor, I walked towards the light at the end of the hallway, where Ashido’s third bathroom was.
My hand pushed against the door, to see none other than Izuku, throwing his guts up in the toilet bowl, gripping it for life or death.
“Oh baby, it’s okay.” I said, flooring myself next to him, rubbing my hand on his back soothingly.
He vomited again, furrowing his brows in frustration and the burning pain of vomit lingering in his throat.
“Are you okay?” I asked.
He nodded, and backed away from the toilet, his legs being pulled to his chest, holding himself steady against the wall.
“Ochako-” He muttered. “Is that you?”
“Who else calls you baby?” I laughed as he was heavily delusional at the moment.
“You’d be surprised.” He muttered under his breath.
I ignored his drunk talk, taking a rag and dampening it, wiping the corners of his mouth gently.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, Izuku.”
“So, what exactly is this party we’re going to?” I asked Ash, putting the milk in the fridge, and the bread in the cabinet, near the corner, so it wouldn’t be squished.
