IT WAS THE NEXT DAY, AND KYLIE ACKLES FOUND HERSELF IN BED. her blue eyes watched as her daughter was sound asleep. she placed her left hand on top of sofia's left hand, it was like an instinct of the one year old to wrap her hand around her mother's finger
a smile tugs on kylie's lips, it was moments like these when she would thank the heavens above for gifting her the cutest angel of all. but as she looked at her she also thought about someone. she sighs softly before falling into her thoughts

she snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of her phone. quickly, grabbing it she answers. hoping it wouldn't wake up her sleeping daughter "hello?" she whispers
"why are you whispering?" chris's voice comes through the other end of the line
kylie leaned up and got out of bed. luckily, she baby proofed her bed, as in she bought two bed rail guards and installed them on each side of her bed. so, whenever sofia was sleeping in her bed, the almost two year old wouldn't roll over and fall
as she grabbed the baby monitor, she headed towards the living room and took a seat on the couch "hello?" chris speaks up again
"sorry, i had to get out of the room. so, sofia wouldn't wake up" she said as she fiddled with a throw blanket that was beside her
it's been three days, since chris and kylie kissed. it's also been three days, since the two spoke to each other. neither of the two knew how to approach the elephant in the room. chris was still conflicted, he didn't listen to scott's advice about letting her go. but it didn't matter, because the second chris tells kylie about the upcoming films he has lined up, that's when kylie would leave him for good
"so, um, listen" chris started off, making kylie tense. not liking his nervous voice "w-we need to talk, but i don't want it to be over the phone. i need it to be in person"
