THERE'S A SAYING THAT WE FALL IN LOVE WITH THREE PEOPLE IN our lifetime. our first love, this love often happens at a young age. you eventually grow apart, call it quits over silly things. when you grow older you may look back and think it wasn't love. but the truth is, it was. it was love for what you knew love to be. then there's our second one love, the hard one. you get hurt in this one. this love teaches us lessons and makes us stronger. this love includes great pain, lies, betrayal, drama and damage. but this is the one where we grow, we realize what we love about love and what we don't love about love. now we know the difference between good and bad partners. now we become closed, careful, cautious, and considerate. we now know exactly what we want and what we don't want. as for the third love, well kylie, still isn't there just yet
she felt her heart soften knowing that chris actually took time off work to come see his daughter on their shared birthday "you came?" kylie spoke, the two words coming out more of a question than a statement
chris looks to his daughter then to kylie, the girl that still held his heart in her hands "of course i did" he assured her "i wouldn't miss her birthday for anything" he smiles
kylie smiled "well, i'm glad you're here. happy birthday" a snicker left chris's lips before extending his free right hand out, motioning for her to hug him, she gave in of course
as chris held her close, he pressed a kiss to sofia's cheek. the two year old girl was quick to lean her head against his. as his eyes shifted towards the other half of the cast that he didn't know, he sent them a smile, just as kylie pulled away with a snicker "chris, this is chase, madelyn, drew, and paul" she introduced as she pointed to each of them
"hi guys, nice to meet you" chris sent them a nod and a smile
the four, well three, since paul was not that starstruck like the rest, sent him a wave "and i'm sure you guys know who chris is" kylie says, in which madelyn, drew, and chase nod
"huge fan" chase spoke up
"love your work" drew added
as chris thanked them, madelyn spoke up "okay, fangirls, let's go" she held back her chuckle as she motioned them towards the kitchen
chris snickered, before he felt sofia trace her finger along his face. a smile curved on his face before he turned his face slightly and just as sofia was about to trace his face again, he took her finger in her mouth and pretended to bite it, causing sofia to giggle loudly. kylie smiled at the interaction
