TODAY WAS THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS MOVIE PREMIER, AND BOY WAS kylie ackles nervous. this was her very first red carpet without her best friend, chris evans. she only hoped that her anxiety wouldn't get the best of her. a smile curved on her lips as she was looking at herself in the mirror. due to paul telling her last minute, the only nice dress she could find was a black satin surplice neck bishop sleeve belted dress paired with black suede rhinestone lace-up heels. a knock on her hotel door brought her out of her thoughts
upon opening the door, she was greeted by the one and only, paul walker. he let out a whistle, which made a smile curve on kylie's lips "you look absolutely gorgoues" he admits with his signature cheeky grin, as he leans against the door frame
kylie found herself blushing slightly "why thank you" she smiles before taking in his choice of attire. paul wore a bluish grey slim dress shirt under his black suit blazer, along with black dress pants and black dress shoes "you don't look too bad yourself"
a snicker left his lips before thanking her "anyways, the rest are ready. we should be heading out in five minutes" he informs her
she nods "sounds good"
paul sent her a nod "alright, we'll i'll see you in a bit" he says
"see you in a bit" she repeats
the truth is, not only did paul come to her room to tell her they were getting ready to leave, but to ask her to be his date. it's no secret that in such little time paul has grown fond of the blue eyed blonde. he's pretty sure that everyone in the cast knew about his little crush on kylie ackles. obviously, not including kylie. inviting her to the premier was his first shot, he didn't have in mind inviting the rest of the cast, but he also didn't want to put any pressure on kylie, seeing as she was still getting used to the idea of getting back into the dating game
but as kylie was getting ready to close her door, he figured this was his one shot to ask before it's too late "hey kylie" he spoke up as he placed his hand on her door
"yeah?" the blue eyed blonde girl spoke up as she opens up her door more to get a view of the other blue eyed blond. she could tell something was bothering him
paul has never been one to get tongue twisted with a girl, but when it came to kylie he suddenly found himself getting tongue twisted and it threw him off his game "i- um" he chuckles softly before sighing "i know i already asked you to come to this premier, but what i really wanted to ask you that day...was if you would want to be my date for this evening?"
kylie was a bit taken back, she raised her brows in surprise. but nonetheless, a smile made its way to her lips. this felt different, considering the only person who has ever ask her on a date was chris. but hearing it from paul... it stirred up butterflies in her stomach, it was a good type of different
