SEEING AS TODAY WAS SATURDAY, THE CAST OF KNIVES OUT DID NOT HAVE their call time so early. meaning that, for once, kylie did not have to arrive to boston at four or six in the morning. luckily chris got her and sofia a arrival time at nine in the morning
the second chris met them outside of their gate, he engulfed them in a big hug. sofia was luckily awake, so she had the biggest smile when seeing her father "i've missed you so much, princess" he smiles as he kisses his daughter's cheek
a giggle leaving sofia's lips. kylie found herself smiling at their interaction. as chris pulls from sofia, he looks over to the blue eyed blonde goddess "i've missed you too" he smiles, before wrapping his left hand around her waist and slightly tugs her towards him. as her body softly collides with his, he leans towards her to plant a kiss on her temple. sending a shiver down kylie's spine
but the shivers immediately went away when she looked over chris's shoulder to see a young girl around sixteen or seventeen looking at them. once the two made eye contact the young girl immediately pulled out her phone. maybe she was just going to call someone or check her social media, instead of recording or taking pictures of them without their consent? right? she thought to herself. but the twenty-three year old mother did not want to risk anything "we should go" she says anxiously. chris immediately noticing her tone of voice, he nods
"here, take sofia and i'll carry both your bags" he instructs, knowing kylie needed sofia in her arms. whenever the two were out in public with sofia and they would spot fans or paparazzi trying to sneak pictures of them, kylie would get anxious. seeing as the two parents tried their hardest to keep their daughter away from the flashing cameras, trying to give them somewhat of a normal life. so, for kylie having sofia in her arms it calmed her down and stopped her from being rude at the fans or paparazzi
soon after the two left the airport, they headed to the set of knives out, seeing as chris's call time was in forty minutes and it took thirty to get there. a chuckle left both sofia and kylie's lips as chris was singing along to kick it to me by sammy rae & the friends. a band that scott actually introduced to chris
"since i been living with you, love me too much and i say kick it to me, i could make it better for ya" the words fell out of his lips so easily
"how long have you had this song on repeat?" kylie asks curiously
"oh, kick it to me, i could make it better for ya" he continues to sing along, just like the vocalist sammy rae, before answering her question "for a week" he ignores her widen eyes and just continues to sing "mmm, kick it to me, i could make it better for you" he sang as he tapped his left index finger on the steering wheel as his right hand held the steering wheel in place
