A year later
Bucky took the gym/history teacher job as well as head football coach job at their old high school. It was a month before school was starting when all the staff was to be at the high school for a meeting.
When they all gathered in the cafeteria for the meeting Bucky seen Joey. His heart skipped a beat just being in a room with her again made him feel whole again. The meeting began the new principal Phil Coulson began to go over what he expected out of the new school year.
When the meeting was over Bucky was about to go say hi to Joey. But Natasha stopped him.
"Don't you dare do what I think you are about to do. Leave her alone Bucky she isnt Joey anymore." She said
Joey seen him then looked away as she walked out.
"Nat I just wanted to say hi" he said
"I know just listen to me." She said
"Lets all go grab food." Sam said as their group left the room.
