MITCH'S POV

"I wake up, flawless. Post up, flawless. Ride round in it, flawless. Flossin on that, flawless....." Who was I kidding. I stopped singing and leaned my head on the cold bathroom wall. After a little bit I looked up and locked eyes with myself in the mirror. I needed this. I reached out and grabbed hold of my blade. I looked down after I was done and was suprised to see many more cuts than rembered making. I was fine with that...except that I was feeling dizzy. And....OH NO! Scott was at the door....Scott is at the door...SCOTT IS AT THE DOOR!!!! OH NO, NO,NO,NO."Mitch? Were you crying? Are you okay?"

"I-I'm F-F-Fine." As soon as I said it I knew that I had done the wrong thing. Now he knew that I was crying. "Open the door. Right now." I never knew how scarry my best friends voice could be. 'He's not your best friend. He hates you, just  like everyone you know. Except the truth.'

The voice in my head was getting louder. I was getting more dizzy. Scott was getting louder too. "I'm knocking down the door. Stand out of the way!" Ha, stand, as if. I had fallen to the floor a long time ago. The door was comming down, I feel like I should unlock it...but then I'll have to try to get up. I grabed onto the edge of the bathtub and pulled myself up leaving bloody streaks along the way. I half walked half crawled over to the shaking door. "Scott, I'll unlock it." I sob-screemed. And like magic the door stopped movong. I slid the lock off and ran to the other end of the bathroom and fell on the floor just in time to see Scott inter the room and freeze.

SCOTT'S POV

Even if I could feel my body turn frozen, my mind was racing on at full speed.Blood. That's all I could see. Everyware.This was not okay, it needed to stop. I need to wake up, I would pintch myself but then I would have to face the truth. "Please don't yell at me." Mitch said in a small voice from the cornor.  "I won't, I would never...I Mitch...What do you want me to do? Do you need help cleaning your arms off? We need to talk. I just hope it's nothing that I'v done. Oh please don't say this was about the other night...." I trailed off thinking of the night before. We had had a little fight, it was nothing big but I know that if someone is depressed to the point of cutting that any and every little thing can set them off. "It's not you....It;s just...life you know?" "No, I don't know. How did this happen? Tell me everything."

"There's not much to tell. I can't deal with life and sometimes I need a break." "Okay...I know that you're not telling me something. What is it?" He looked around everything except my eyes, he looked so small, so sad...I almost let him off the hook. But then I rembered what I'm dealing with. If I let this go it could mean letting Mitch go. Forever. Gone. I could feel the tears comming. I just now really realized what this ment. "I don't want to tell you." Mitch was stubbern. To much so. "You have to." I know treating childness with childness wouldn't help anything but I couln't think of anything else to do. "I sorda have a big crush of you and I never think I'm good enough and I just want to be happy but sometimes it's not that easy." He said with one breath. "Life is'nt always easy, but you just have to kick it in the butt. I'll be here to help you and I'll get you better....now, about you having a crush on me?...." I slammed my lips into his and kissed him with everything I had.

ONE YEAR LATTER

It had been a crazy year. Both with PTX and with Mitch and I. Things were moving fast between us..things were never easy but we always knew how to make them work. It's like I told Mitch, 'If life gives you lemons, channel all you're sass and ask for a refund.'
