To be close to you.

To be close to you is like being next to the ocean and letting all of it's power overwhelm you but at the same time being safe at home. It has this crazy otherworldliness to it that is great and mighty but at the same time calming and relaxing.

To be close to you is like a warm Sunday morning where the day stretches out in front of you with a thousand possibilities.

To be close to you is like being in the midst of an adventure no matter where we are or what we are doing.

To be close to you is looking into your eyes and seeing them shine beautifully.

To be close to you is waking up in the morning with our arms wrapped around each other never wanting to leave that comfort.

To be close to you is the long talks that we have that go on from late at night into the early mornings; speaking about nothing and everything at the same time, watching you laugh at the things that we did as children.

To be close to you is holding your hand.

To be close to you is your beautiful smile that lights up the room & your contagious laugh.

To be close to you is the strong feeling of love that runs through me every time that I look at you. The great compassion that seems to go on forever and yet it is always growing as my love for you deepens every day. To be so close to someone as beautiful and special as you are is something I am thankful for every time I see you. Thank you for letting me be close. Close to you.
