"Hello?" Came a sleepy voice from the other side of the call.
"Are you sleeping? It's six in the evening." Bill was bewildered.
"How come you're calling me today?" It was apparent Siana was cross because he was interrupting her weird sleep schedule.
Bill huffed. Maybe he had been busy with school and at the back of his mind there was always Seven present, and missed her thirty eight calls in total, was too busy to call back, but that did not mean he was not worried about her.
"I only wanted to know how my dear best friend is doing."
She yawned through her words. "I'm fine, just finished assignments late last night. Thought I could catch up with sleep."
"You're always catching up with sleep. I thought I could catch up with you."
"Seriously, man, what is it? You'd always told me to take a break when I told you I was tired AF, but not today. So?"
"Ah," Bill laughed awkwardly, "You know me too well."
Siana huff in exasperation. "Spill."
