"Seven, are you okay?" Bill asked tentatively as if foreseeing the other boy to Hulk out at any moment.
"You, again?" Seven grunted and stood up.
"Hehe," Seven laughed nervously, "The one and only."
Seven's eyes went to the little teddy bear that Bill held in his arm. "Thank God, it's not chocolate this time."
Bill offered him the bear and Seven ignored it, as usual, looking up at the older boy as if he was nothing but a piece of stubborn gum stuck under his shoe.
"Do you have a shoulder injury?"Seven was stupid to think that Bill would notice his polite disregard and would leave him alone, but he was wrong.
"Yeah, minor."
Of course, Bill could differentiate an injured muscle from a tired one. He was a swimmer.
"I can give you my physician's number."
"That won't be necessary." Seven declined as politely as he could, before minding his own business.
