"I'm on a call with George right now Sapnap, I can't hang with you." Dream shouted as Sapnap knocked on his door. He sighed, this is usually how it went. They would stream or call together, just them two, and not invite Sapnap. It only really bothered him some of the time. The times when they were playing a fun game together on stream and Sapnap begged in chat to be let in the call. Or times like right now, when Sapnap felt more lonely than usual and just wanted to spend time with his friends.

Sapnap did try to be understanding though. He knew how close George and Dream were, even if they didn't know to what extent themselves yet. All the dnf jokes started to feel a little less like jokes each time it was brought up and when Dream would 'jokingly' bring it up on stream, he noticed how Dream tended to seem partially serious about what he was saying. He didn't know if Dream knew it yet, but he was going to let those two figure it out on their own. If they needed their time together then Sapnap didn't mind - much. Yes he wished his best friends would want him there too if they were simply hanging in call but he'd get over it.

He walked back to his room and flopped down on his bed. It was only 5 pm, he wasn't feeling at all tired and he did not have a single plan for the rest of the day. He stared up at his white ceiling trying to think of something to pass the time. Karl was busy working with Mr. Beast. Quackity was back in Mexico for a little while. Bad was probably just waking up knowing his messed up sleep schedule. Callahan was the next person to cross his mind. Maybe he'd be up for filming a Minecraft Challenge or something. Callahan was honestly a great friend to everyone and always ready to help out or hang when someone asked.

Feeling slightly less dejected, he reached for his phone that was left on his bedside table to send Callahan a text. A notification on his lock screen caught his attention. He had a new message from Punz. He quickly slid his phone open and went to the Imessage app. Punz was another one of his closest friends and he loved spending time with him. Sapnap loved spending time with all of his friends. The message read 'Was thinking about playing Val, you want to join?'. This made Sapnap suddenly forget his previously gloomy mood. Finally a friend who wanted to spend time with him! The message was from seven minutes ago so he responded fast, afraid that Punz had already changed his mind.

'Hell yes, I was looking for something to do' was what he typed back. Rather quickly after the small grey delivered appeared under his text a sound started playing from his pc. The sound was the notification for an incoming discord call. He rose from his bed and made his way across the room to his computer.

He answered the call once he sat down in his chair, "What's up Punz!"

"Heard you were interested in playing Valorant?" Punz's voice sounded through his headphones.

"Yeah dude, thanks for thinking to ask me." He went to launch the game so they could get started.

"Of course Sap, we always have a fun time when we play. I was thinking of streaming but I'm not sure." Punz seemed to want Sapnap's opinion on whether or not to stream.

"I'm down to be on your stream if that's what you want to do, it could even just be a short one if you're not feeling it but knowing us we'll play until like 3 am." Punz let out a light laugh at the last part of Sapnap's statement.

"Yeah you're right, okay give me two minutes and I'll start and say hi to chat." Punz deafened in discord.

Sapnap waited patiently, staring at the starting screen of Valorant. Fidgeting with his fingers he realized he was slightly nervous. Must be the stream, he still gets a little nervous before streaming. He was excited now though too, he had missed spending time with Punz. It had only been a few days since they last spoke but hearing Punz's voice made him happier. They got along really well. Both were competitive and could get aggressive while playing games, they definitely did it more on stream for entertainment's sake but even off stream they made bets and mocked each other. Sapnap loved friendships with this kind of dynamic, he and Dream acted kind of like that too. It has slightly changed since Dream had been preoccupied but it was never the same as the friendship he had with Punz. He really just felt like he could be completely himself, do whatever and say whatever, and Punz would never (seriously) respond badly. He knew there was more to why he appreciated Punz's friendship so much, but he couldn't figure out what it was right now. For now he thinks it's because Punz always seems to be there at the right time. Like today for instance, it was like Punz somehow knew he was upset that no one could spend time with him and reached out to fix it.

He then remembered that he was going to text Callahan and felt slightly bad. Even though Callahan had no idea, Sapnap had forgotten about him momentarily. He pulled out his phone and sent a message to Callahan asking if he wanted to join him for a stream of some sorts tomorrow.

"Hi, I am liiiive" Came Punz voice after the sound of him unmuting was heard.

"Helloo, welcome back and hi chat!" Sapnap greeted Punz stream chat. He pulled up the live feed of the stream on his second monitor. There was a large influx of greeting messages for Sapnap, many very excited that he was joining Punz.

"I told them I had a special guest waiting, looks like they are very glad it's you." Punz laughed. Sapnap also chuckled and his heartbeat became weird for a second, he felt very welcomed at this moment.

His attention was then taken off of chat so that he could look at Punz's actual stream. He also had the starting stream to Valorant showing and only a hand-cam today. Surprisingly he found himself looking at the cam longer than necessary, he noticed something different.

"Are you wearing rings and nail polish?" He voiced his question.

He could hear Punz let out a laugh, "Yeah I am, I just got the rings yesterday when I saw them shopping. I thought they looked cool so I figured I'd try them. The nail polish I did a few days ago, chat convinced me to." There was a slight pause and Sapnap didn't have time to think of a response before Punz continued, "Why Sap, do you like them?"

And if Sapnap really paid close enough attention he would've sworn Punz's voice got lower just for the last four words he spoke.

Hello to any readers! This is a shorter first chapter, just really an intro to see if I like it so far, we shall see where this goes! Hoping for it to be a slowburn type story but my writing is out of practice so i can't guarantee the quality of this. Anyway, hopefully updates will be weekly after the first few chapters.
