Chapter 8: Anticipating

After dinner Sapnap, Dream and George all decided it would be best if they recorded something for a new YouTube video. Sapnap reluctantly agreed because he figured it would be better to get some filming out of the way so he would not have to do it once Punz got here. He did text Punz though before getting onto Discord with Dream and George because he felt bad about not being able to call him.

    Hey, I'm really sorry but I won't be able to talk anymore tonight because I'm filming a few videos with Dream and George. He typed out. The reply he got was very fast.

    It's all good, have fun with that. That was all Punz said. He didn't know why he was expecting more.

    I wish I was talking to you instead. Sapnap sent it before he could overthink it. He really would rather be talking to Punz. Recently he found he was always happiest when he was spending time with Punz. He also may have slightly sent it just in case Punz actually was mad at him.

    Punz was actually the opposite of mad. He was so happy that Sapnap chose to text him and let him know what he was doing. He didn't even have to do that. It made him feel important to Sapnap. He was a little upset he wouldn't be talking to him anymore tonight but there was always tomorrow. If that didn't work out either, then worse case Punz would be with him in two days. With that knowledge Punz couldn't be upset with anything right now. He also didn't want Sapnap to feel like he was trying to get in the way of plans he had with other friends.

    That last text he received caught him off guard. It actually made his heart flutter and Punz had never felt that before. He wished he was talking to Punz instead of anyone else. Sapnap already wished he was talking to Punz again. Sapnap wanted to spend time with Punz. Punz's mind kept racing, he was ecstatic.

    Two days and you're all mine baby. Punz found himself constantly longing to already be with Sapnap.

    Sapnap stared at his phone for a while. Punz had to know what his words did to Sapnap and he was doing this to mock him, right?

Dream walked into Sapnap's room, he normally wouldn't just walk in but he knocked twice and got no response. He saw Sapnap sitting at his computer.

"Hey, I thought you were going to get on discord so we can record? George and I have

been waiting for 10 minutes." Dream spoke from the entrance of the room. He still got no response.

"Sapnap," He tried to get his attention again. He walked closer and placed a hand on Sapnap's shoulder, "Sapnap," He tried again. Sapnap finally whipped around, startled. Dream could now see Sapnap was on his phone, which he hurriedly slid into his pocket.

"Did you still want to make a video?" Dream asked once he had Sapnap's attention.

"Oh yeah, sorry, I didn't realize how long I was taking." Sapnap gave a weak smile up at Dream and hoped Dream would just go back to his room now. Of course he wasn't that lucky.

"Who were you talking to?" Dream raised an eyebrow. He seemed amused.

"Uh, no one, just checking twitter," Sapnap didn't meet Dream's eyes and went to turn around back to his computer.

"Punz?" Dream was confident in his guess.

Sapnap could sense that Dream wasn't going to drop this. He sighed, "Yeah you know, just talking about his trip here." He shrugged to play it off.

Dream laughed, "Sure sure," it was sarcastic and before Sapnap could defend himself Dream was walking out the door. "Join discord!" He shouted while leaving.

Sapnap did join discord and it took them about 3 hours to finish recording the whole minecraft challenge video. Sapnap and George kept messing around and killing each other as usual. Dream continuously tried to get them to stop. They probably added an extra hour to the process. When they were done, they got an invite to Karl's stream and they joined that with him. Sapnap wasn't as energetic as he usually is and didn't say much. Mostly because he was distracted and tired. Viewers started to notice, joking in chat 'Sapnap is quiet' and 'turn up Sapnap'. He tried to pay attention, he really did. He felt bad about not bringing excitement to Karl's stream.
