Harry's P.O.V

I pushed away from Zachary's hold and wiped the tears from my eyes as Mal and her friends arrived with the wand.

"Ben, your family and all of Auradon are the reason we live in the slums and live off of literal trash as a food source. You are the reason villains are reproducing. Why horrible people have been brought to life. Why children are either abandoned or die young. Yet you don't see it because you live in a so called utopia that also bans magic. Even after all the things that have gone wrong, you haven't changed anything" I ranted out as the teen before me cried, blubbering out excuses after excuses and how he's going to change everything.

"But you all look normal!" he finally yelled out as tears and snot continued to drip from his face.

"We're not" Uma stated simply as she moved towards the boarding plank as Mal and her friends turned the corner into view.

Hunter slid towards me and Zachary as he shielded the infants from view.

"Hey Mal, why don't you tell Benny-boo about all the birth defects you received as a fellow magical creature" Uma called out as Mal stopped at the dock.

"Why?" Mal growled out nervously as she looked around the ship, noticing Hunter coiled behind Harry and Zachary.

"Because he doesn't seem to understand even after seeing our sons and hearing about our dead daughter!" I growled out venomously at the question.

Mal could only gasp in horror as she looked over at Hunter, whom was still tightly coiled in a ball to keep our sons from view.

"Fine, I'll show it" Mal finally said as she lifted her shirt and turned around. There on her back were the stubs where her deformed wings had once been.

"My mother had to cut of my wings because they were causing me pain with how they had deformed into a messy coil of bone and feathers" Mal explained as she pulled down her shirt.

"It was the only motherly thing she ever did for me" she continued as she turned to look at her boyfriend.

"What about everyone else, they all look fine!" Ben exclaimed as he looked for reasons to not feel bad.

"Just because you can't see the damage doesn't mean its not there! Such as all the dead siblings each person here has" I yelled out in rebuttal as more tears fell from my eyes.

"Hunter, Zachary. Go home. The wand they brought isn't real and nothing will change" I sighed as I walked to Ben and cut the ropes from him. There was no use in fighting anymore. Nothing would ever be better.

Hunter's P.O.V

I watched as Harry untied the King and walked back to us, his eyes blank and hopeless. I carefully uncoiled and handed him our sons, hoping they would bring a smile to his face. The reason they didn't pass was most likely to him being human before Zachary bit him. But I don't think I should tell them about my theory.

"Harry, don't worry. we can still live happily" I smiled up at him, kissing his cheek before slowly slithering home as the two followed closely beside me.

"Wait!" Ben called out.

"I'll change everything. I promise" he continued quietly.

"I'll make sure he doesn't break this promise" Mal added as she stepped beside him.

"I don't expect you to fulfil your promise. So don't expect me to be nice the next time I see you" I smiled venomously at the two before slinking away into the slums.
