Hunter's P.O.V

I was in my nest when the decree came that every year, four more kids would be brought from the isle to Auradon. The first four were Smee's twin sons, Dr. Faciliters daughter and Lady Tremaine's granddaughter. I could only smile lightly at the thought of the four leaving this island.

"Uma still hasn't gotten back yet" Harry said worriedly as he came into their room with an anxious air about him.

"You and Gil can go do what you want" Zachary smiled at the other as he moved from his position beside me.

"I'll take care of Hunter and the kids" he continued as he pulled Harry into a hug, pecking him on the cheek as he did so.

"Thanks, I love ya both" Harry smiled sadly at them before running off towards the bridge where loud singing could be heard throughout the Isle.

"How do you think that will go?" Zachary asked curiously as he returned to my side.

"I'm not sure, hopefully everything will end in our favour" I replied with a hopeful smile as I played with our sons.

"I'm going to go check on how the others are handling things" Zachary said as he headed downstairs to where Carlisle and Catrina Cat, Ace Hearts, Jared Claw and Caleb Hatter were taking care of the orphans. I nodded before returning my attention to Caster and Asher.

Caster had his arm fisted in the air above them while Asher sucked on his with a slobbery yet gleeful smile as he watched me. I gently wrapped them in my tail as to rock them gently.

"I can't wait for you both to start moving about, it'll be so fun to show you both how to hunt and build you're own nest" I exclaimed longingly as the two slowly fell asleep, small smiles staying as the leant their heads against each other.

As the two had grown over the months, changes had occurred. Asher had grown wolfen ears while the caw of a rooster caused Caster to cry out in pain from the sound. Asher's skin being lighter than Caster's caused a mix of their skin tone splitting where they were conjoined in half. Asher was a more smiley baby that giggled often whereas Caster was a more reserved baby that only let his parents hold him and cried more often. Yet the scales on their tail had brightened to show black with a orange bellied middle stripe. Caster being red, whereas, Asher's was yellow. Bother held different eyes. Asher's were Harry's brown while Caster's were Zachary's green with slits. I couldn't help but fawn over my two sons and loved finding which traits they obtained from each parent. I couldn't wait to see as their personalities grew. And soon, I fell asleep watching them both.

I soon awoke to the cawing of a rooster, wincing in pain, I moved to hush Caster before he awoke his twin. After they had settled down, I let them rest along my chest as I glanced towards the time. It was late afternoon and the world was quiet. Well, as quiet as it can get on the isle.

"Zachary" I called out nervously as I slowly slid from my nest and downstairs to the kitchen as to obtain nutrients for my children.

"Hunter, you have to help me. I need to find Dad's ember" Mal exclaimed nervously as she stood behind Zachary with Celia, Jared stood growling before her while the others were gently coaxing the children into another room.

"Just ask him. It's his ember. What do you even need it for" I asked curiously.

"Audrey is out cursing Auradon" Celia stated as she curiously looked around the room.

"Let me guess, she got a powerful artifact from that highly under-protected museum that you lot didn't get the wand for lack of knowledge on the technology they have in Auradon?" I drawled as I slithered towards the deep freezer where we kept the rats and other large vermin I caught to eat.

"She stole my mother's scepter" Mal explained nervously.

"Fine, I'll take you to father's lair" I sighed, glancing forlornly at the frozen rat before putting it back in the freezer.

"I'm coming with you" Zachary stated as he moved to gently pick the twins up into his arms.

"Okay, lets go now then" I stated as I lead them towards a large gate at the end dog the neighbourhood that I lived in.

"How big is the dog?" Mal asked nervously as she looked at the three-headed beware dog sign.

"Nonexistent, unless you count Zachary's father who gaurds the other entrance" I chuckled, Zachary snorting behind us.

I opened the gate and left them down a dark tunnel that leads to my father's man cave.

"Father, Mal is here to see you" I called down the stairs , my voice echoing in the warm cavern.

"My son, how are my grandkids!" Hades called out as he moved to turn off the record player.

"Hungry, I'm here to gift you a purple problem" I deadpanned before sliding down the wooden stairs and towards a dark corner where I could hear squeaking.

"You think you can get the vermin infants while you're at it?" Hades questioned as he walked back to the couch where Zachary had sat down with Caster and Ashter fussily moving in his arms.

I smirked before squeezing into the rat home and striking the rats down the eight adult rats before dislodging my jaw to swallow them whole.
Once done my meal, I swiped up the baby mice and left the hole.

"Dad, if you care for me, you would give me the stone" Mal stated as she moved away from our father's touch.

I hissed in annoyance as I watched my father hand Mal the stone before turning away from her sadly as she left with Celia.

"You should've just killed Maleficent when you had the chance. Or let my mother kill her" I stated as I slithered over to Zachary and the twins.

I couldn't help smiling adoringly at them as they adorably ate the baby rats I gave them.

"I couldn't do that, she would've hated me more than she already does" Hades sighed dramatically as he slumped into his couch and watched me feed Caster and Ashter.

"True, after Harry gets back we can have a family night if you want?" I asked, trying to cheer him up.

"Good idea, I'll go find Hadie!" Hades cheered as he ran out of the cavern.

"How is it that Hades is more of a teenager than you are?" Zachary asked, sweatdropping at the sight of Hades.

"He's a God, they all act like children while us demigods take care of them. I mean, the amount of demigods left to fight the Gods wars has become common ground throughout history" I stated blankly at Zachary before going back to feeding our children.
