Keitaro Nagame x Hunter Springfield

Chapter 22

The day had finally came. It was the July 17th of 2021 and the day had came to when Hunter would finally give birth to their daughter.

When the two boys found out they were having a girl, they were over the moon! They were going to treat their little girl like a princess and make sure that she was always as happy as can be all the time.

Hunter woke up in the middle of the night to some cramping in his stomach, the feeling making his head spin and bus heart pound. He nudged Keitaro, attempting to wake his boyfriend up.

"Mmh...Hunter? What's wrong?" He asked as he looked at the other and sat up. He then noticed the distress on his boyfriend's face and didn't need a further explanation. He immediately called an ambulance and explained what was going on; his rashed attempt to keep the panic out of his voice subtle.

Hunter lay himself down and started crying, "K-Keitaro..." He mumbled, looking away from the other male, gripping onto his hand. But...

The ambulance arrived as quick as possible and they took Hunter to the hospital so that he could give birth however, Hunter looked like he was petrified. When the other was taken into the hospital room where he could go into labour.

Keitaro waited outside in the waiting room, waiting for his boyfriend to be back. Panic soured through his veins as he waited hours upon hours for something to happen. He couldn't help it- he had read stuff online about how both the mother and baby can die or one or the other. He was scared he'd lose his little girl or his beloved Hunter.

The seconds, minutes, hours, they went by slower than Keitaro had ever imagined. They were so slow when they went past that it was like they were separated all over again. He couldn't hear Hunter's screaming or crying which did put his mind at ease; he didn't want to hear him in pain.

He looked at the corridor where the nurse would greet him, and he looked every fucking second. He started to impatiently tap his foot and Keitaro was a really patient person. He wasn't the type to get frustrated but his paranoia was making his emotional run haywire and he just couldn't stop himself from doing so.

He decided to text Hiro; his best friend. Throughout camp, Hiro had started to date Yoichi and he was so happy for him! Bur right now, he wanted his best friends reassurance.

Keitaro: hey, Hiro. i need some best friend hugs and some reassurance?

He sat his phone down on his still bouncing leg as he waited for a reply. He knew Hiro always replied really quickly so the vibration on his lab indicated that he had responded.

Hiro: Hey, Keitaro! *hugs* Wassup?

Keitaro: thanks. i'm waiting for Hunter in hospital. he's been in labour for 6 hours...should i be worried??

Hiro: Oh, nonono! That's normal! Well...Scoutmaster Yoshi says it's normal.

Classic Hiro. He always knew how to put Keitaro's mind at ease whether it be changing the subject or just plain reassurance and messaging him like this really helped the paranoid frog lover out.

Keitaro: oh, you're with him, Aiden and Scoutmaster Yoshi?

Hiro: Yeah! I've been here for a few days and my God, Yoichi is always horny itsg-

Keitaro: well yeah, that's Yoichi for you, haha! how's Aiden and Scoutmaster Yoshi?

Hiro: Wellll~ Bro Aiden and Yoshi are now engaged! And they treat me and Yoichi like family! And Yuki has been really protective over us too and and and!! We've been looking for homes for her puppies.

Keitaro: woww, keep one for us! i'm sure Hunter would love having a puppy and me too! wait, you and Yoichi don't call each other nicknames anymore? didn't you call him Wolf Boy all the time? i get he doesn't call you Torch-head, he stopped doing that.

Hiro: Nope! Not anymore! We don't use nicknames like that anymore. Instead we either use each other's actual names or pet names. And trust me, Yoichi, when he uses a pet name, it's so cute-

Keitaro: haha, i bet it is!

"Keitaro Nagame?" A nurse asked and Keitaro swore that if he had ears, they'd immediately perk up. He looked up and nodded. "Hunter has given birth to your daughter, they're both in their room now. They're in room 4 for when you want to go see them." She then walked away.

Keitaro: i have to go, Hunter us outta labour! thanks for talking to me, Hiro! <3

Hiro: No problem! See you later, and we expect pictures!! <3

Keitaro smiled and immediately headed to the room the nurse had said and his face immediately lit up at the sight before him and he walked over.

Hunter smiled weakly at his boyfriend, his hair messy and sweat running down his forehead and cheeks. He was holding a little girl wrapped in a pink blanket. Her eyes were green and her hair was blonde and she was the cutest little girl ever. Both boys immediately fell in love.

Keitaro smiled and gave both his boyfriend and little girl a kiss on the forehead. "Haha...she's beautiful! And she looks like you." He said and gently put his hand over his.

Hunter thought for a moment; despite being American, he'd always wanted to have some kind of Japanese name for his baby and her thought for a name for a while. He gently gave his daughter a kiss before he smiled and nodded, telling his boyfriend the name.

"Yua."

Keiraro smiled and nodded, hugging him and Yua close. "Its perfect.."
