Hunter woke up from the motel and stretched. He needed to go out again on his walk to find Keitaro. He was still exhausted even after the sleep he had had here but that was irrelevant now. What mattered was getting back to Keitaro.
Slowly, Hunter got up from the bed he lay on and flinched when he felt his baby move inside him. He sighed shakily and moved his frail, delicate and sensitive body to the other end of the room where he had dropped his bag. He bent down and picked it up, putting it on his back. He should have taken his mom's car; he didn't think...damn it.
Pushing these thoughts aside, he left the motel and began to track to Keitaro's home. He wished he hadn't deleted his number...he wished he had left when his parents showed unsupportive signs, he wished—
He stopped. He looked off into the foggy distance, a few tall buildings lurking. Bingo! He was near the capital which meant that if he got to the town outside there where his love lived it would all be okay!
But that was the hard part. He'd have to make his way through a loud, busy street with people judging his every move. It was bad enough it being his parents, but strangers? That was way worse...hey, at least he had some money so if he really wanted to he could always go and get a taxi but...
As he walked down the sidewalk and into the street, the smell of food began to attack at her nostrils. Fresh bread, curries, chocolate, candy, fries and burgers of all kinds, all of it made his stomach growl. He hadn't eaten in a while...
Fuck it. He walked over to a stall and bought some food; that food being some burgers and fries, and a mere can of soda. Making his way to a park bench, he ate his food. His eyes closed as he ate, the taste of all the different flavors in his mouth making it so irresistible not to finish.
When done with his food, he put the wrappers and can in the trash and began his journey again. He probably should have tested considering he just ate but that wasn't all that important right now. What's important, is Keitaro.
The more he walked, the more tired, scared and cold he became. A hotel would be a lot more expensive here than the cheap motel he had yesterday. Not that he didn't have the money, he just didn't want to buy some room in a place he's unfamiliar with and have to pay extra for other bullshit.
He smiled softly to himself as he thought, it made him happy to know he was close, the thought of his love being close was his motivation to keep marching forward.
He remembered Keitaro's smile, his laugh that could light up the whole room, his cheerful attitude and happy go lucky way of thinking. Everything about him made Hunter so happy, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
The tall, glass skyscrapers began to leave view as he left the capital and began to walk to the town Keitaro lived in. It hadn't taken him as long as he had initially thought, but that's because he had been in non-stop walking, not taking any breaks unless he needed a breather. But that was only for a minute at a time.
That's when he felt a wave if electricity jolt through his body. The sign ahead he had been longing to see. The name if Keitaro's town. He ended up jogging now but couldn't keep it up so he proceeded with his calm walk.
He remembered the scenery. The beautiful green grass, icy blue sky, swaying trees in the wind, and all the beautiful colors of flowers in the park. His eyes glittered as he looked around him and he ignored all the states he got from others.
Looking down now, he walked through the park as a shortcut until he arrived at his house. Finally...
He was about to raise his hand to the doorbell when he suddenly felt anxious. He felt...scared. What if Keitaro had forgotten him? It had gotten with someone else? I mean...it won't happen, but it's a possibility, right?
“No, don't worry yourself too much,” Hunter thought to himself as he smiled. “Keitaro loves you too much to even consider cheating on you!”
Mustering up all the courage in his body, he again, raised his hand to the doorbell and instead of hesitating like before, he pressed it.
He waited. And waited... And waited...
This is when his anxiety peaked again, his nervousness all coming back in again one bug clump. It was coming back and messing with his head, the bad thoughts returning and the negativity making him want to run away from the house.
He couldn't help it, the thought of losing the one person he loved more than anything else int her world scared the literal shit out of him but...he didn't care. He was far too exhausted to let his thoughts cloud his mind and take control him again. But that's exactly what was happening. Instead of standing still, he started pacing.
Instead of drawing or something, he let his thoughts wander off into their dark side again. His thoughts making it harder to considerate. Everything began to blur as he thought he'd pass out but then he felt someone hug him tight and heard someone crying.
Keitaro...
He immediately hugged him back and he too started crying. He finally had his love back. “Oh, Keitaro....I-I missed you so much..!”
“I-I missed you too...and I'm never letting your parents take you out again...you deserve so much better...”
Hunter nodded and was then invited I'm where he for shrugs, hugs and happiness. He finally had his love back. And that's the way it would stay. Nothing could ever change that...
Right...?
