Hunter felt his world piece itself up to its shape again as he cried into Keitaro's shoulder. He knew that that journey would not have been good for himself or the baby but he didn't care about that right now.

Keitaro gently pulled away and cupped Hunter's cheeks, “Did you walk the whole way here?!” He asked, tears still pricking at the sides of his eyes, threatening to fall down his cheeks. He blinked them back and got a small nod in response from Hunter. He sighed and took him inside the house, looking for his mom.

Keitaro's mother was a doctor, so she did a small examination of Hunter and the baby and thankfully, both of them were healthy. Hunter was just a little malnourished and sleep deprived.

“Hunter,” She said, “You can go upstairs and sleep and I'll make you a nice big meal. You haven't eaten very much I'm assuming? And that can't be good for yourself or your baby so go get some rest!”

Hunter nodded and was picked up by Keitaro and taken upstairs being laid down on the bed with a gentle touch. Hunter smiled and put his arms out for Keitaro, who gently lay beside him and pulled him into a loving hug. He kissed his cheek and gently stroked his stomach. “How did you walk all that-” Before he could finish the sentence, there was now a sleeping Hunter on his bed.

Keitaro smiled and held him close, “I love you so much, Hunter...welcome home.” He said, humming quietly as he held him. He was being quiet because not only did he not want to wake him, but quiet humming tended to be soothing for people wanting to sleep. As he hummed a quiet song, he rubbed his cheek lovingly, admiring his sleeping face.

To what felt like minutes, Keitaro's phone buzzed with a message from his mom, telling him to gently wake Hunter up so he could come downstairs and eat. Keitaro sat his phone down and gently whispered to Hunter.

“Baaaaby,” He said, earning a small groan from the smaller male. “Come on, honey, wake up.”

Hunter slowly opened his eyes and stay up with a cute little yawn, “Hmm...?” He asked groggily, rubbing his eyes before looking around the room.

Keitaro smiled and gently took his hand. “My mom made food so you can get your hunger back to normal.” He said, taking him downstairs with a smile on his face. He was honestly just glad to have Hunter back with him. His mind tended to live in the gutter when things went wrong, so bit being with Keitaro really took its toll on him.

Hunter sat down at the table, thanking Keitaro's mom for the food before digging in. He'd eat it slowly at first but overtime he began to eat a bit faster until he had gotten his full appetite back. Keitaro smiled and ate too, nor wanting Hunter to feel like he was the only one eating. He didn't eat as much, but still a lot.

When they finished their food, both Hunter and Keitaro headed upstairs where they sat down on the bed. Keitaro turned on the tv and the two sat watching a movie until Hunter fell asleep again. Keitaro took this as an opportunity to gently lay him down and pill the blankets over him. He got under with him and cuddled him, “Sleep well, bunny.”
