Keitaro Nagame x Hunter Springfield

Chapter 12

Keitaro called for Aiden, and he called and he called and he called until said man came rushing over.

The first thing he saw was a tearful Keitaro clutching an unconscious Hunter in his arms.

“Hey buddy, what's wrong? What happened?” He asked, kneeling down to check what happened to Hunter.

“He-He just fainted!” Keitaro said, choking slightly on the persistent tears slipping out the corners of his vibrant green eyes.

Aiden took the unconscious Hunter and took him off, leaving Keitaro standing there. Unable to keep his balance, the 19-year-old collapsed to the ground and burst into tears again, catching the attention of his all-time best friend, Hiro.

“Keitaro!” The eccentric boy said, running over to his best friends side. “Hey, what's wrong?” He kneeled down and hugged him, helping him stand up.

“H-Hunter...h-he...he fainted a-and...I'm worried about him...” Keitaro choked out, his breath coming out in gasps as he cried between his sentences.

Hiro shook his head with a smile, “You believe in him, right?” Hiro asked, getting a small nod from the frog boy. “Then he's gonna be fine! He's strong and no matter what happens he will have you by his side! And you're the best healer, ya know, Keitaro!”

Keitaro smiled and nodded with a small, uneasy laugh. “Go back to Yoichi, I'm sure he misses you already.”

“Nah, Wolfboy is sleeping...” Hiro said in a huff, crossing his arms as the two of them walked back to their cabin.

“If he didn't sleeping, he's eating. Just like you,” Keitaro pointed out with another smile.

Hiro huffed again, slightly offended but upon opening his eye he heard a snort from Keitaro and the two boys burst into laughter. They entered the cabin to see Taiga with Natsumi and like Hiro described, a big purple lump sleeping on the bottom bunk.

“Hey, Keitaro! Hey Hiro!” Taiga said, smiling. Natsumi had really changed Taiga and now he was as kind as can be to everyone here! It was unusual to seem him so nice to all the campers but at the same time pleasant too.

“You know, Dynamite,” Yoichi said, waking up and rubbing his eyes. “Mr Perfect sure had changed you for the better.”

“Wolfboy!” Hiro said, jumping onto the bed and giving his boyfriend a big hug. Yoichi smiled and kissed his forehead, happily hugging him back.

Keitaro sat on his bed and pulled his knees to his chest, putting his head into them. The other four look at him, all feeling guilt passing through them. Hiro explained what happened to Hunter and at this point, everyone felt bad.

A few hours pass and it was now 9pm. That made it bedtime for the campers, but being the rebels they are (and not listening to Natsumi's scolding), the boys all stayed up. It was mainly to comfort a distressed Keitaro, though.

There was then a door creak and all five heads turned to the door. In the doorway stood none other than Hunter.

Keitaro's bright eyes widen and he runs over, pulling the bunny lover into a hug to which he returned. “I'm so glad you're okay!” Keitaro said, holding him up by his waist, Hunter's hands resting on his shoulders.

“I-I am too!” Hunter said as he was lowered. He then hugged Keitaro again and a few tears eyes and small, quiet sobs left his lips. “I-I'm so sorry I-I made you worry Keitaro!” He bawled, gripping onto Keitaro's green and white night shirt.

“It's okay, Hunter. Really..” Keitaro said, petting the back of his head gently. He could tell that made the blondie smile because he heard a little giggle escape his lips

“Come on, come get dressed.” He began, Hunter nodding in response. He then took off his clothes and put on his pajamas, getting onto his bed to be pulled into a hug by Keitaro.

Both boys snuggling into each other, the gang could all go to sleep and await the morning.

Whistle blows.

Natsumi woke up and for dressed before shaking everyone to wake up, “Rise and shine everyone! It's a brand new day!”

Taiga was the first to wake and slowly sat up rubbing his eyes. “Babyyy, why can't I sleep longer?” He asked with pleading eyes only to get Natsumi crossing his arms and looking down at him. A failing attempt again, Taiga groaned and got up getting dressed. But as he walked by Natsumi he let our a yelp to see Natsumi had groped his ass! Not to innocent now are ya? He then winked at a now blushing Taiga and headed off to do chores.

Next to wake was Hiro who rubbed his eyes and kissed Yoichi's cheek to wake him up. He woke up on queue with the kiss and smiled at Hiro, both boys getting up together and getting dressed. Yoichi kept pushing Hiro down, attempting to have some morning fun but Hiro kept declining and telling him they could later. Hiro realised that after beginning to date Yoichi, he most definitely preferred it rough than gentle.

Then finally, Keitaro woke up and smiled when he saw Hunter's adorable sleeping form. He realised just how he had fallen in love and smiled at him even though he knew he couldn't see.

To wake him up, Keitaro gently pressed his lips against his forehead. “Wake up Sunshine.”

(My gf calls me Sunshine and I love the nickname... :3)

Hunter's eyes slowly fluttered open and he smiled. “Morning, Keitaro...” He said with a smile, sitting up and getting off the bed. Both boys got dressed and held each other's hand as they walked out the cabin to join the rest of the gang. They also noticed that Eduard and Lee were holding hands. The boys turn to each other and smile seeing that they finally got together.

The gang turned to Yoshinori and smile as they prepared for a new day in Camp Buddy.
