Chapter 2: No stars here.

CJ and Boyfriend were battling against each other in a rap battle. While I was there staring at BF's rapping skills, I was now staring more at CJ. I stared for a long time, then the Girlfriend decided to give me a drink.

"So, who do you think is gonna win?" A girl with orange hair asked.

"Hmm? Oh I think BF is going to win by a landslide. His notes are perfect..." I started sighing, then I decided to sip a little bit of my drink.

"Huh? What's the matter? Your favorite idol is going to lose?" The girl, again, asked.

I started stuttering. "Um. M-Maybe? I-I mean that BF will win! I support him! Today I am not as happy as I was yesterday..."

"I pity you. Here, have my brown squid plush! It will help you feel better." The girl gave me her little squid plush, and ran away happily. I went to go catch up to the kid, but another kid appeared.

Another kid, who looked older than the other one appeared. "Do you like CJ? I heard you do!"

"No I don't! I just want him to win-" I shouted, then stopped because I said something related to CJ.

"Yes you do! You want CJ to win, but you must face the truth! Haha! You like CJ-" The kid was cut with a voice that was coming from the squid plush. It wasn't loud, however we could both hear it.

"Listen here, you little piece of Calamari. Hurt my owner once again and you get cooked." The voice from the plush threatened.

"Erm... I am sorry! I won't do it again!" The kid said, and ran away in panic.

"Hey! You didn't have to do that, y'know." I said to the squid. The squid, this time, didn't answer. Some people started glaring at me and one even said, "What's wrong with you?!" I thought it was my imagination, so I was deciding what to do next.

"Oh! I was walking around so much, I may have lost the girlfriend..."

I ran with haste to get to the stage, but the rap battle was still ongoing.

"Man. I wish CJ wins, but BF is easily going to win. Oh well... Huh...? I can't-" I whispered to myself silently, however is was enough for the Girlfriend to hear. I started holding my head as I felt like I would faint.

"Are you ok? You look not-so excited." The Girlfriend patted my head and I started sighing painfully.

I saw the Boyfriend win and CJ said, "Not bad bud. You managed to outbest me... Erm... You got some tight bars, y'know!"

"Beep ba boop!" The boyfriend was proud.

The Girlfriend continued to pat my head and said, "Well, that was... very funky indeed!"

"Hey! Y/N! What's your opinion! Y/N? Wait where are you?" CJ was calling me, but I didn't answer. I hid behind the Girlfriend.

"As I was saying, I was never the best vocalist of the group..." CJ was explaining, and gave out a huge sigh.

"Skdoop!?" The Boyfriend asked, however CJ didn't answer him.

"Y/N... You should come out now..." The Girlfriend said.

I almost shed a tear, but I ran away from the Girlfriend so it wouldn't turn into a scandal or anything.

After 1 minute, after that situation,I started crying and then I ran to the Girlfriend and tried to bury my face in the Girlfriend's arms. I felt my head in someone's arms, but it wasn't the Girlfriend. Yet I felt like I would faint.

"Hey... Um... are you ok....?" An angelic voice said.

"Huh? Girlfriend is it you...?" I spoke quietly.

"No... It's me. Ruby..." I looked up to see a familiar face, Ruby's face, and started crying five seconds after.

"Oh... Don't cry....!" Ruby started sweating and looked worried.

"Hey! Y/N! Are you ok?!" CJ shouted, loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Yes! I am fine! Leave me alone!" I was shouting at CJ, however, as I was shouting, I saw the audience staring at us and chanting:

"Yo! Ruby!"

"Yay! Ruby is here!"

"Go Ruby, Go!"

"Ah...! Sorry I am late! I ran into traffic and..." Ruby spoke, however, she looked tired and I gave her a nice hug.

"Y/N, you can stop being so clingy, hehe! Ruby, you came right on time!" CJ spoke out loud.

I initially refused, however, Ruby's look made me feel bad, so I stopped hugging her. I decided to hide behind the Girlfriend, however she moved aside, so I hid behind the Boyfriend.

"Meet Ruby! She's kinda shy... but don't let that make you underrestimate her! She's a killer at vocals! So you wanna go at them Ruby?" CJ was looking directly at me, so I put my head under my sweater so CJ and Ruby wouldn't see me cry.

"W-What!? Are those...?" Ruby stuttered.

"Boop Beep." The Boyfriend replied.

"She doesn't seem so sure about herself..." The Girlfriend said.

"D-Don't worry... I-I can do it... I n-need to prove myself to them..." Ruby continued to stutter.

"Alright Ruby, break a leg out there!" CJ shouted. The audience now was being even louder, and they were were cheering for Ruby, however the other side cheered for the Boyfriend.

"Beep!" The boyfriend said, proudly.

"So this is the stage fright my parents were talking about...." The Girlfriend whispered to me, but I just nodded and left. However, I felt like I was being followed, so I ran.

I went near the trees, and looked behind, I saw CJ. I ran faster, becoming more disturbed and scared for my life.I was going to tell CJ something, but suddenly, I could not feel anything.

I started groaning in agony after I bumped myself with one of the trees. "Y/N!" CJ screamed. He tried getting my hand but it was no use. I felt numb and could only hear and see things. "Y/N..." CJ whispered.

Yet I couldn't get up. I only heard Ruby's following words: "I may be shy...

But that doesn't mean I'll let you win!"
