Chapter 9: The Singer Within Pt. 3

"Hey! Y/N! Wake up!" CJ shouted.

"Skdoop Beep! (Wake up!)" The BF said, and I started opening my eyes.

"Gah... Owee... Come back...!" I started shaking a little and starting to comprehend what I saw.

"Huh? Are you ok Y/N?" GF asked, and I nodded.

"I'll go to Vade's house..." I said, however CJ cut me off.

"Actually, we are now planning to move in to a house together... So uh.... I wouldn't say Vade's house." CJ replied, and I sighed.

"Sksk... whatever..." I still groaned, and I tried walking away. However, I couldn't do anything since Ruby held my hand. I felt bad, and just started mumbling gibberish.

"I know what you're saying, y'know..." The voice from the plush started speaking, and I nodded.

"... So.... What are we going to do-" I was cut off by a random crowd, which was shouting at us, and it started growing bigger. "Oh no..."

"Oh Em Gee! It's CJ!"

"Oh my gosh!"

"Ruby!"

"Oh! A new band member? Nice!" One person from the crowd shouted, and the rest of the crowd stared at me, possibly expecting me to sing.

"Yo! So... Who are you!?"

"Oh my gosh! Are you... a singer?! Sing for me...!"

"What's your name?"

"This singer's name is Y/N! Their bars aren't as tight as ours, but they're a great singer." CJ looked at me with great confidence, and I held the microphone bravely.

"This one is called, 'My Starshine!' Hope you enjoy! Rock on!" CJ exclaimed, and the audience went wild.

"U-uh... CJ! Ruby! Let's do this!" I shouted at CJ and started singing, like I knew the songs lyrics.

After a minute of singing, the audience applaused and started asking for the rest of the bands photograph.

"Woah! That's too many people! Y/N... Maybe you could to do yours, right? CJ looked at me, and I felt a sudden burst of energy in my body.

"Eh... I just decided to help you a little..." The plush that I had in my jacket started to tell me, and I nodded with a dirty smirk on my face. The crowd was handing me their blank paper to sign, and I signed as fast as the anime artist Axol. 

"We hope to see y'all again!" I exclaimed toward the audience. The audience scattered everywhere and I heard lots of shouting and all.

"Y/N... T-That... That w-was awesome...!" Ruby hugged me and I hugged her back.

"That... was nice. Anyways, what are we going to do next?" I asked, and CJ looked at me with regretful eyes.

"Eh, we'll be packing up so we'll live in the same house together... It's easy, don't worry. The house will be bigger and such." CJ added, and I did not feel affected by this.

"..."

I continued to stay quiet for a while and Ruby looked at me.

"Beep Skdoop bo? (Are you ok?)" The BF asked, but I just nodded sadly.

"Your bars are tight lil' buddy! Yeah, I believe you're a fish, specifically a salmon, in the inside." The plush started talking, and I nodded slowly. I honestly felt conflicted in the inside.

Did I really did do this? Was this just a dream? An illusion? Is this all real? Am I real? Is life just a simulation and free will is a lie? I feel... like I recognize this voice... Who is this? I don't know...

"I see you're conflicted on the inside. Don't ask who I am, that would ruin the surprise." The voice spoke, and I was confused. As I was walking, I saw the girl with the orange hair glitch out until I couldn't see her.

"G-Guys! Did you just see that?!" I shouted, but they all looked confused.

"What?" CJ replied, and I shrugged, since he obviously wouldn't believe me.

"Why though? What surprise? Why are you this secretive? Do you know this girl?" I asked, and the plush answered, answering all my questions.

"I don't want the fun to end. The surprise is a surprise. I am the one who supposed to guide you. I know this girl, however as you saw, she is not implemented here, so she glitches out of existence. This girl was my friend..." The voice's tone was melancholic, like sadness that was extreme. It was so extreme that I think I heard tears.

"A stranger, a player.... La la la doo...." I starting humming a melody and the crying stopped.

"I... ha... ha... you are so lucky to have friends... Mine died years ago..." The plush starting sniffing and I took it out, hugging it. "Ha...Ha... CJ... Ruby...Vade...Mark... I will shut up now... I am sorry Y/N...Ha..."

After we went to pack up to move to a bigger house, I was still having a mental conversation with me and... the voice.

"... So... Are you ok? Are you dead and stuck in there?" 

"...Oh here we go... I... I want to confess one thing... Don't tell anybody else, ok?"

"Ok."

"Ok... so... I don't belong here. I just appeared as an anomaly. Life is a simulation here for me, since you know, anomaly."

"I don't believe you."

"I am."

I started feeling tired, and I held my plush tightly. I started closing my eyes, and I had another illusion/vision.

"Eh?"

"Y/N! So, you are going to sing with us again... right?!"

"Yes. Yes I will..."

"What's wrong?"

"Oh.. nothing."

"I... T-This is it f-for this album!"

"Ruby! Let's finish it off!"

"I- I am sorry..."

"Y/N! Wait!"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Being quiet for who you are forever isn't going to last forever."
