Chapter 3: My Starshine

"Y/N, say something!" CJ was shouting at me, but I couldn't feel anything for a moment. CJ was shouting for help, but we were miles away from the concert.

I picking myself up, and I only to do so a little bit. "Y/N! You're alive!" CJ screamed with excitement, however I couldn't say anything. However, I rested a little bit, I picked my self up, and tried running away from CJ. However, a girl with a purple tank top appeared, seemingly from out of nowhere. I bumped into her, and just picked myself up. However, she touched my hand, and I stopped to look at her back.

"Um... Hey. I know this is awkward, but I am actually trying to get to the concert." I said, quietly.

"Oh. Well. If you don't know, I am CJ's girlfriend." The girl said.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Vade." Vade answered. "Yours?"

"Y/N. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, too!" Vade said, cutely. "Actually, I want to go to the concert, too."

"Oh. That's nice. I am going to inform you that we are lost. Y'know, this place looks like an alleyway. The difference is that there are trees growing here."

"It is home to raccoons. Anyways, I know how to get to the concert from here." Vade said.

"Oh, if you didn't know, I felt like I was being chased so I looked behind and it was CJ. Wonder why." I told Vade. Vade didn't reply and she just told me to follow her.

"Y/N! Y/N! Come out! We are gonna be late for the concert!" I heard CJ call me.

"So, yeah. That's your boyfriend." I sarcastically said.

"Yeah, more sarcastic than a certain someone..." The squid plush started talking.

"Shut up!" I told the plush. The plush didn't respond.

"Y/N! You don't have to be like that!" CJ shouted.

"Don't mind him. Just tell him that you're here." Vade said. However, before I could say anything, CJ appeared and I saw him being pretty tired but still happy.

"Vade! You're here! C'mere you!" CJ started hugging Vade, and Vade hugged him back.

"Yeah! Oh, I thought you forgot someone. I found Y/N!" Vade pointed to me.

"Oh. Hey Y/N! What were you going to do?" CJ asked.

I squeezed my squid plush tightly and gave a dirty smirk. "For your information, I tried to leave the concert since I was in pain. However, I hit myself with a tree and almost blacked out. My stomach started hurting a little, but the pain mostly came from my head."

"Oh poor you." Vade said.

"Lets just get to the concert." CJ said.

We had to pass through trash and trees, but we finally we made it. I had some injuries while getting to concert again, but I felt fine.

"Wow! Look at Ruby!" Vade said, while still hugging CJ.

"I know right! Oh wait! The song is going to end soon!" CJ shouted.

I saw Ruby and BF finish their rap battle, and it was good. I mean, I only heard a little bit of it.

"If you don't know, the song is Echoes. It is a great song! I will go to the stage and cheer for Ruby!" CJ shouted, and started moving towards the stage.

"Wait for me-" I looked directly at Vade.

"Don't worry. I will watch from here." Vade assured.

After that, I went up the stage and looked at Vade, then at Ruby, and CJ.

"Now that was a sick performance Ruby! You keep improving everytime!" CJ told Ruby.

"Ya! That was sick Ruby, Rubes!" Vade shouted from far away.

"I wasn't expecting that. You're incredible!" The GF added.

"Huh? You... mean that?! T-thanks... That coming from the daughter of the Dearests, it's an honour... Yet... you still beat me..." Ruby was stuttering a lot so I decided to hug to make her feel better.

"And that's where I come in! Haha! So what do you say Ruby? How about we step our game up together?" CJ asked Ruby. This reminded me of something, but I don't know what it was...

"Pardon...?!" Ruby said, a little shocked. 

"Me and you both, taking him on!" CJ explained in a few words. I smirked, however, I didn't let go of Ruby.

"Beep?! (What?!) " The Boyfriend shouted.

"But..." I said quietly. Ruby looked at me a little nervous, but she managed to smirk a little. I removed my arms from her.

"That is so totally against the rules. But you can take them on right?" The Girlfriend said.

"S-since when were there rules?!" Ruby said, more shocked than last time.

"Boop!" The Boyfriend said.

"Alright now, lets rock on for one final performance!" CJ shouted into his microphone.

It was quiet for a while. I could hear a pin drop.

"Wait!" The Girlfriend shouted.

"..." CJ and Ruby didn't speak or sing anything and just stood there quiet. 

".........Beep?" The Boyfriend just stood there, too. He only spoke a little, yes, but he was mostly quiet.

"You know, another thought. A 2 versus 1 isn't really fair, is it..?" The Girlfriend said.

"No, not really..." I answered.

"Huh?" Ruby felt a little odd, from what I could tell.

"Let me join you in a duet my love! I may be a little rusty, but remember, my genes are no joke! " The Girlfriend told the Boyfriend.

"Beep Boop!" The Boyfriend replied to the Girlfriend.

"Hmm... Not bad! Show us what you got, Girlfriend!"

"I'll do my best!" The Girlfriend said while approaching the Boyfriend.

"Beep Boop Beep!" The Boyfriend said. The Boyfriend carried the Girlfriend in their arms.

"So Ruby, do you want me to carry you just like they do?" CJ asked Ruby a sincere question, however I knew there were shippers in the audience.

"N-n-nooo thanks, I'm fine standing up here." Ruby told CJ.

I put my arms around Ruby because I started feeling like I was losing control of my body.

"Aren't you clingy, Y/N?" CJ remarked. I started to blush but then I realized that I was only hugging Ruby for protection.

After some time I started feeling tired and CJ and Ruby got me. Then I only heard the following words:

"Sweet. Alright dudes, lets end this mayhem right here, right now!"

"Y-yeah! Let's do this!"
