Chapter 14: Axes and Bamboozlers Pt. 1

Crash! I heard someone break a random window, then I got fully out of bed. I heard insane shouting, and this was starting to scare me.

I also radio noises... Give in to me... And it just hurt hear what was going on, and seeing what is happening is out of the question.

"Hey! Are you finally gonna back down?!" It was that voice... And I recognized it.

"Nah! Just because you look like you're winning doesn't mean you're!"

I heard some slashes and pwings... From an axe and a bamboo weapon.

"Leave Y/N alone! They have done nothing wrong!" Right after the humanoid creature said that, the man with the axe noticed me and started chasing me. I was surprised because... I had nothing to do with him. But why is he chasing ME? I evaded easily and ran to the room.

"Wow. Is your partner that timid? Last time, my partner did actually try to defend himself-" The man got his mouth shut by the 'plush', who literally smacked him with the bamboo stick.

"Yeah, but at least they're not dead! You still need to hear our song!"

The man left, and I just had my mouth wide open. The humanoid creature turned into the plush, yet it just didn't make exact sense what was going on. Like... The man looks like a guy from the WDY poster... Yet I thought it was just a violent cosplayer.

"Ugh. Dude or dudette or whatever the heck you are... What happened?"

"Nothing. Just my old co-wtorker seeking more pain. I- I don't like where this is going. What if he dies or something?"

I was going to start to lying so we could get out of this mess. "Pain? C'mon Vade probably misses us..."

"You're right. Anyways, ride that tidal wave!"

"Man, you are so obsessed with C. Koi, aren't you?"

"Their music is the best!"

"Nah, On Command's music is the best."

"Miku Hatsune! SMG4! Wait no! DJ D-"

"Fine you win."

After we arrived to where I felt like it, I just decided to stay while the plush was making barometers.

"Aren't we going to the bands new house?" The plush said, and started to nervously shake. "Actually, I am done making barometers... I know where the crew is, don't worry. It's this way."

"Oh Lord. I forgot that they will know what I'm thinking about..." I thought to myself.

"There is too many things to talk about, but my head just feels empty." The plush sighed, and took

"Same... Oh! Hey... While we are going to the place Vade is at currently, why don't you talk to me about your rivalry with that man?"

"The rivalry is caused by a disturbing event... H-he...hehe.... It's just something I take personally."

"Oh. What do you mean?"

"You want to know? I won't expose them, but the man with the axe hurt and tortured one of my closest co-workers. Then I threatened the man to expose the truth to the public, but he is now onto me. I left, but my home was safe since people were scared by the myths and legends about it. I no longer want to expose the truth, but you are the only one I could trust. After some time I got a Wii for Splatoon then... I turned into this!"

"That sounds.... Quite horrible..."

"Yes I know. Now, a Wii got infected and is probably already sold off."

We both managed to reach home, but the humanoid creature had to turn into a plush so the band doesn't feel 'sus'.

"Y/N! Where were you?!" CJ hugged me then started to shake me.

"I went to get my ice cream and found a place haha... I slept there-"

"Woah! Really?! Where!?" CJ started to shake me even quicker. I pointed to the place where I camped with the plush. CJ's mouth was wide open.

"That place is dangerous! How did you get out alive!?"

"Don't worry, honey. All that matters is that Y/N is safe." Vade responded, and proceeded to hug me.

"Please tell us about.... Y- your way to get ice cream... P-please we were really worried about y-you...." Ruby started to stutter, but I nodded in 'yes'.

I proceeded to tell my story to them, but I got incredibly sleepy. I didn't sleep, but I went to my new room and turn myself into a ball. The plush was already there, but I didn't mind. We talked about the moon and everything else, but I felt like I needed to sleep. We cuddled a lot, and we stayed like that throughout the night.

"Goodnight, Y/N."

"..."

The shiny stars remained beautiful, and they fell asleep for what seemed like an eternity...
