Chapter 6: The Singer within Pt. 1

I was woken up rudely by Vade, and I groaned as she was shaking me.

"Y/N! Wake up! It's 6:15!" Vade tugged on my hair and I pick myself up. 

"Gah- What is it, Vade...?" I still tried to open my eyes. While I was still trying to open my eyes, Vade managed to picked me up and carry me.

"There you go!" Vade carried me to CJ's room and laid me on the soft floor.

"Heh... Thanks...." I thanked Vade before I tried falling asleep again, however, she laid a plate of vegetables with seasoning and left the room.

"I must start eating I guess... Mmm..." I started eating the food, and it was delicious. I finished all of it on time before CJ came into the room.

"Uh... Y/N! Why are you eating on the floor you lil' critter...?" CJ started teasing and I looked away.

"Erm... You see... Vade gave me food! You see! I liked the food, so I ate it all! You see?" I said, and CJ picked the plate up and put it on the kitchen counter.

"Well, would you like anything else? The rest of the band is composing a new song, so I gotta go." CJ asked, getting some papers.

"Um... No not really..." I replied, however I recieved a text from Ruby on my personal phone, since we exchanged numbers.

"Ok... Well goodbye!" CJ waved farewell, and starting reading the texts from Ruby. These texts were from Ruby, so the messages would not be complete or be misspelled. I managed to fix the messages, so I could understand.

Ruby: Oh... Um... Y/N! I... um... CJ, I, and the rest of the band would like to invite you to the um... band!

Me: Oh really? That's nice... ;')

Ruby: I think you would be good on an instrument! Or even better... A SINGER!!!!!

I knew the one who was texting the second message was CJ, so I asked 'Ruby' if they were texting the messages.

Ruby: Um.. I'll be back!

Ruby: Erm... we can talk later... Right?

Me: Yes, of course!

Ruby and CJ stopped texting, and I decided to go outside.

"Ahh.... The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming..." I said, but then I told myself something.

"Don't you dare, or else you will have a bad time." I told myself. I headed to Ruby's house, and when I arrived, I saw the band with some instruments. I tried sneaking around and spy on them, however, the guitarist saw me.

"Yo! What are you doing here?" The guitarist poked me with their guitar.

"Erm..." I started shaking a little, and the guitarist shouted to the people on the 2nd floor. "Wait-"

"Hey, Y/N!" CJ shouted at me, and froze. "Eh...? Oh! We would like you to practice with these instruments!" 

"Oh... I-I don't know..." I started stuttering, and I looked at a microphone.

"O-Oh... Y/N... You could b-be a s-singer..." Ruby gave me the microphone and I starting trying to sing to a familiar tune.

"Umm.... What do I do?" I asked.

"I don't know, you could start singing to a familiar tune. I guess." CJ answered, and I tried remember a melody.

After a few hours, the following events happened.

"Um... I remember an odd voice singing this... I'll try singing this." I said, and tried singing it, yet I couldn't remember it whole.

"Ya'll ready for this... We have you now give in... to me.... you need to hear our song... give in to me... Eureka I have you now! Ya move and I groove yet you need to hear our song...." I sang something that was oddly familiar. I knew the name's song, which was Maritime Memory, sang by the fictional band, "Squid Sisters".

"Wow Y/N! You sing great! Maybe you could be a singer!" CJ exclaimed however, I just felt tired and tried to drink something. I found water in the fridge and drank it and I started to get tired.

"Woah! Y/N! What did you drink?" CJ asked, and I couldn't respond. "You didn't drink water... You actually drank something... illegal." The plush started talking to me and I fell asleep.

"Let's drag Y/N outside, shall we?" CJ told his bandmates and I quickly found myself at CJ's house.

"Oh my! Y/N! Are you alright?" Vade shouted, but I couldn't feel anything.

"Eh... Erm..... Vic... help me...." I started losing control of myself and was laid on the soft floor.

"Oh Y/N! Here, would you like me to rub your face?" Vade asked, and I nodded a little.

"Well... we're going to practice. Goodbye!" CJ waved goodbye, and I quickly fell asleep.

"Goodnight, Y/N..."
