crashing the pool party

today will be an epic day! I can feel it. The reason for the happy mood? We're going to swim for P.E.! I looked through my beautiful room and I couldn't feel better. I set the alarm extra early today because then I would have enough time to bath myself before going to school.

I walked over to the bathroom and let the water and foam fill the tub, after it was almost overflowing with bubbles I jumped in and immediately felt my legs stick together and morph into my tail. I liked my tail, I think it was a pretty one and was actually really proud to have a silver tail. My mom had a green one and my dad had a copper one. I was the only one in my family, heck in the whole Atlantic, who had a silver tail. I felt a little bit special because of that.

After a nice bath I dried myself off for a good while, really trying to make my tail sparkle, and quickly threw on some clothes. I pulled a comb through my messy hair and after realizing that it wasn't going to look any better than it did I just shrugged and grabbed my bag, all set to go to school.

I met Oliver and Adriana on the way to school so we decided to stick together. Too bad that Ollie isn't in any of my classes so we had to say goodbye again at school, we did promise to eat lunch together which I was happy about. Adriana was chatting my ears off about some guy she apparently liked, vampire of course.

"Taylor is just really, reaaally cute! but he won't even look at me, I don't know what to do! Dandan help me pretty please?", she pulled her puppy eyes and a little quivering lip. Gods I just can't say no to those damned puppy eyes!

"Oh my gods! fine- wait a second... Dandan? really?", she shrugged and said it fit me so I just laughed at her.

After the most boring first two lessons ever, it was finally break time and we headed to the cafeteria. As usual it was booming with sound, and the smell of sweating monster teens and weird food just hit me like a truck. Ugh, gross. Oh well, I ordered some sushi and a bottle of water, while Adriana was tugging my sleeve and (trying to) secretly point to some vamp who without a doubt was her Tyler or Taylor or something. She talked fast and I am having a hard time remembering names without faces okay?!

To be honest this time though, I wasn't really paying attention to her. In walked my own secret crush, Nathan. Now I know he might not be such a great guy but according to the Warlock boy he was actually pretty interested in me to the point that he's voluntarily coming to school just to see me! That had to mean something right!

We sat down at a table near that vampire dude and after a few minutes Oliver came to sit with us, as well as some of their friends.

"Soo, who are you staring at? Oh my gods do you like somebody?", Oliver smiled at Adriana who blushed a deep red (which really stood out against her pale non sparkly skin). She just mumbled the vampire's name and Oliver seemed to smile rather mischievously.

"What are you doing to do Oliver? H-hey, really what are you doing?!", Adriana went from blushing to shock to embarrassment as Oliver went over to Taylor at his table.

Oliver apparently knew the guy and spoke about something before the vampire nodded and began to enthusiastically begin writing something down, Oliver smiled receiving a paper and winked at us while proudly strutting back to us.

"Okay then, I hope your free tomorrow evening because you have date with mister Vampire over there, oh and here is his number.", Oliver simply handed over the note while our mouths had dropped to the table. How slick is this guy! I thought he was all sugar and pastel pink?

Adriana opened the note and read it for us: "Hey Adriana, I've thought you were cute since a long time so if you're free tomorrow let's have a date, here's my number.". She was turning red again and began stuttering then eventually hugged both me and Oliver tightly.
