Daniels P.O.

After lunch it was hard to concentrate on anything except that Nathan dude and his friends, mostly because they were in almost every class I was in as well. Somehow I managed to survive and not look like a creepy stalker dude who's constantly following them and desperately trying to look at any direction except theirs (which by the way failed, horribly).

The day had been super hectic and I was dead tired from walking on my legs all day, I still think it's weird walking on two legs. I had tripped at least three times today!

School was over and I headed to the dorms, a fairly big looking building made out of some type of white brick with large wooden doors and window frames, it gave me a welcome feeling. I liked it. I opened the doors and was immediately met with a chest, I was so surprised that I fell back and landed on my butt. That's like the ffourth time today! My butts bruised for sure. Damn these unstable stick legs!

"Whoa, you alright? I didn't see you there.", the chest said.

The guy extended his hand and when I actually looked up I saw yet another very handsome dude (they seem to be everywhere in this school!). His hair was medium long and black, his eyes were very pink and very alluring. He had a slender face and luscious full lips with one snakebite on the left side.

When I was standing, with his help, and dusted off, again with his help, I almost laughed out loud when I took a closer look at his clothes. Everything was pink! A simple light pink shirt that was tight enough to show his muscles, a long grey hooded jacket, white pants paired all together with pink-white checkered vans.

Even though he was taller and more muscled than me, his clothes and eyes made him look sort off adorable, I mean with all the pink stuff. He smiled at me and I shyly thanked him and smiled back. Deep breaths, think conversations and don't stutter!

"I've never seen you before though.. Oh are you the new transfer student? I'm Oliver Borski, I'm from the Polish incubus clan and I'm also in the student counsel.", He smiled proudly and I couldn't help but laugh at his cheerfulness. Oh thank the gods he's friendly!

"If you want to I'll show you around the house, 'kay?", He smiled again and this time I saw a small fang.

He is a little.. well..pink to be a vampire. So I guess incubi have fangs, you learn something every day. I breathed a small sigh of relief, worried that I had to ask someone the way again and happily agreed to his sweet offer as he took me on the 'grand' tour.

He led me through the hallway to the kitchen (do not under any circumstance take food from another monster especially not the shapeshifters or werewolves!!), the lounge room (currently occupied with guys shouting and yelling while watching some football game and a few others playing card games), the bulletin (a few job offers, taxi numbers, student activities and missing familiars signs) and lastly the garden.

I liked the garden the best because it had a huge pond where a few water naiads where hanging around, I used to have naiad friends so I felt happy to see some familiar creatures.

After looking at everything, and I do mean e-ve-ry-thing, we headed to the dining room to get some food and talk some more.

Dinner was actually pretty fun, we had two long tables in the middle of the dining room which were loaded with four different kinds of food on each table; meat and stuff that goes well with meat, all kinds of different fish and seaweed, rice and all sorts of pasta, and of course vegetables (although the vegetable side looked awfully empty). There was also a smaller table with different drinks and soups, as for the vampire's, yes there was also a blood menu (that did freak me out a bit, I mean where did the blood come from?!).

Suddenly I heard a deep voice laughing. Of course he had to be here. I felt my heart speed up and I carefully looked to my right and saw Nathan, sitting on a chair, surrounded by his friends. My cheeks began to heat up and blush, furiously I might add. Ugh I so don't need to get worked up over that stupid flirt!

I quickly grabbed my food (some tuna and a seaweed salad) and dragged Oliver, who was looking at the drinks, to the other side of the room. When he asked what was wrong, I just blushed a shade darker and picked at my food.

After dinner was sort of eaten (I was too self conscious to eat because of Nathan, who by the way didn't even notice me) Oliver showed me the way to my bedroom. He said he had a surprise for me so I had to close my eyes, I thought it was a bit weird but Oliver was like a giant marshmellow so I humored him and closed my eyes. I wasn't too sure where we were but I guess we stopped in front of my room and I heard a click no doubt him opening the door to my room. Then he counted down from three and told me to open my eyes.

I was frozen, shocked, flabbergasted. I just stood there. Mouth hanging so far open I'm sure it could fall off any second.

"So, do you like it? We try to make everybody feel at home so everyone gets his room decorated according to, well, what you are. But if you want something else it can be arranged of course!", he muttered the last bit, but I didn't even gave him the chance to finish that thought! I was so amazingly overjoyed!

"Oliver, it's perfect! I'm so happy thank you!!", he broke out in a mile wide smile and let out a sigh.

"Phew, I was worried since I didn't know what you liked and if you wanted a bed or a tub, but I didn't want to offend you or anything so I was really worried that you maybe didn't like what I did with the room.", I looked at him with aw.

"You arranged my room?! That is so epic you should do something with that! Why don't you become an architect or interior designer or something? You'd be the best in the business, I guarantee it.", He smiled happily and I think I saw a hint of a blush, at the very least the tips of his hair turned pink, so I took that as some sort of sign that he was a little embarrassed.

"Well, I have to go finish up with some other things, your clothes and other stuff have been put in the drawers and closets, if you can't find something you can always come find me, my room is number 273!", with a small wave he left the room positively glowing.

I took another look around my new home for the time being. The room was pretty big for a dorm room, it had beautiful turquoise and cream walls, the floor looked like it was made from white driftwood but it didn't feel rough or uneven at all. The shelves were made of the same driftwood material and were already loaded with my books and other stuff.

My desk and other furniture, a closet and little nightstand, were made of boat materials, it even had little barnacles on it and I smiled at the effort Oliver put into it. Then there was my bed, it looked like a piece of heaven! A big fluffy light blue bed, it was low to the ground and as absolute best surprise was my violin laying on top of it!

I loved my room it made me think of home and I could almost smell the sea. I grabbed my violin and started playing my favorite tune, I called it the siren's requiem, because we made this together back when I first started playing with the sirens. So many happy memories were of playing with the sea creatures and music and laughter. I reminisced and played the played and reminisced some more. By the time I felt my arms get tired it was way later than I expected and I guess that I had to call it a night.

I put down the violin and put on my pajama, I only had a top part, since well I'm a merman, I never used pants before, or a shirt for that matter. So I just used the top and my boxers. I laid down on my little cloud of a bed and thought about today, I guess coming here was worth it.
