CHANGE

Something changed. Taehyung was no more the same. After he came to know the truth, his hope was completely broken. He thought of changing himself. He thought for a long time....what was his fault in this ? He was treated badly just because he was a weak omega. So, why not change himself to a strong one, to someone who can at least protect himself. His dream was very simple- to make a happy family with his mate, but now when he came to that his mate loves someone else, he can't force Jungkook love him. Love is a natural feeling, you always can't have it. He now came to realize that if Jungkook wanted him, then he would have loved without any condition, he didn't need to proof himself or be a better mate for Jungkook to love him. It's not worth it.

Taehyung started to keep no expectations from his mate. He started to think about himself and his pup. Yes, now the pup mattered to him the most. He cried at lot after knowing the truth, but will crying bring him back his mate ? So not leave thinking about him. This marriage was nothing for Jungkook from the start and he was very much clear about it. He never gave him false hope, he was only one who was adamant to make Jungkook fall in love with him. But love doesn't happens like this. Though Jungkook's wolf loves him, but Jungkook never wanted him and only wolves loving each other is not enough.

He hated the word 'weak' to the core. He never wanted to be weak. For once, he wanted to prove everyone that he is not weak. He can do everything he wanted. For that he just a needs a little bit of courage and belief in himself.

Jungkook woke up the next day with a heavy headache. He cleared his vision to see that he was in his office and there was a picture of Soo in the table. He gulped seeing it. How did he remember her after so many days ? What happened to him suddenly ?
He didn't wanted to think more of it and quickly kept the photo inside the drawer and went outside the office room. He went to his room and saw Taehyung watching TV.

Hey....you woke up. How are you feeling ?

I am fine.

Jungkook was shocked because this was the first time Taehyung said a sentence with stuttering and his face was blank.

Okay...What do you want want for breakfast ? Any special craving today ?

No. I am fine.

Alright... Jungkook was going out to the room to prepare breakfast.

Jun.....Jungkook ? He called me by my full name. What happened to him suddenly ?

Y-yes. Do you need something ?

I am going to work from now on.

What ? Why ?

I just feel bored at home doing nothing and I want to earn money for my expenses.

But why ? I am earning enough to fulfill your wants. What do you need ?

No it's not about that. I just want to be independent. I am tired of being a burden to everyone.

But you are pregnant. And working is not good for you.

Who said that ? I talked to Jin hyung and he said pregnant males need to do some exercise for their pup's health.

Is it ? Okay you can work as long it's nothing about weighing heavy weight or something that can over tire yourself.

You don't need to worry. A cafe needs an artist for their walls to decorate, so I am going to try that job.

Artist ? You know how to art ? I didn't know that.

There are many things you don't know about me Jungkook.

Uhmm okay. I am going to prepare breakfast for you.

No it's fine. I can prepare my own food. I am bored of sitting at the same place anyways.

No but preparing food will tire you. I can do that.

No Jungkook.. it's okay. I know how to take care of my pup. I will never put my own pup's life into danger. And I know you are worried for your pup. Don't worry, he is surely strong like you. He will be okay. And I know you never wanted me as a mate, I was the only one who was persistent to keep this relationship. But now I understood it will not bring us anything. You don't want me and now I am trying to not wanting you. It will take time but gradually I will be okay. Let's stay together only for our pup. We can't be mates but at least we can be parents for him. Later, when our pup grows up we will re-think about our relationship.

U-uhmm..okay I u-understand.

Taehyung left the room and sighed heavily. It was difficult for him to act strong suddenly but this time he didn't wanted to break down. It was also difficult for him with speak with so much confidence but the continuous betrayal made him somewhat strong. His heart was beating fast when talked directly looking at Jungkook, but he didn't wanted to be loser. For once, he wanted to fight for himself. It will not be easy to forget the love he has for Jungkook, but it is not worth it to wait for someone who loves someone else. It's better this way. Both of them will go to their own path without disturbing the other.

On the other hand, Jungkook was shocked that how did Taehyung changed over night. Did something happened ? He couldn't decipher anything but left the thought quickly as it was giving him more headache. Yes, it was better this way. He never wanted a mate and now Taehyung also accepted it. There will be no more pressure. He is happy. He will only be a father to their pup.
