A week passed and Jungkook didn't show his face to Taehyung. He knew Taehyung must be so confused. He wanted to give him some alone time so he didn't go infront of him. But that doesn't mean he didn't kept flowers near his bed or didn't prepare his favourite breakfast.

He did that everyday. Early in the morning, he goes to Taehyung's room quietly and keep the bouquet. He would sit by his side and look at his serene face. He would tell about his feelings and leave the room quietly not before placing a small kiss on Tae's forehead, not knowing that the omega was pretending to be asleep.

Taehyung knows Jungkook daily comes to his room before he wakes up. So, he wakes up early and pretend to be asleep. He listens to his talks quietly and after he leaves the room, he opens his eyes and looks at a daze.

The words that he heard 1 week ago still rings in his mind. So, he have been wrong all the time. Jungkook didn't kiss anymore. He doesn't love her.

Jungkook loves him. Oh how much he wanted to hear it earlier. He is sure if it was five years, he would have squealed so hard. But he feels nothing. Absolutely nothing. Neither his heart is fluttering nor his cheeks are flushed.

Maybe its because he never expected that. Its been 5 years. His feelings faded with time. He got rejected so badly in the past that now these all feels like a kore hearing it from the same man.

Or maybe because he doesn't trusts Jungkook. Yes, he may not love Jisoo anymore. He can trust on that. But that doesn't means Jungkook will trust on him when he said he is one whom he loves. It feels surreal.

Taehyung sighed while getting up. He looked at his and saw the bouquet of chrysanthemum flowers with a note. Today the note says "Trust is a big word in relationship. It takes years to build the trust but not even a second to break. I want you to trust me baby even though its hard. Take your time. I love you..... Your stupid Jungkook"

After that day, Jungkook always tell him those three words openly. He is thankful that Jungkook didn't came in front of him.

Taehyung told everything to Jimin. The later was shocked to know about the truth but that doesn't mean he trusted Jungkook with his brother.

His brother suffered so much that it's hard to trust again others. Specially trusting the same person who broke Tae. He asked Taehyung if he trusts Jungkook or not. He wanted to see if this petty acts melted his brother's heart but was surprised when he heard no.

Taehyung has learned his lesson 5 years ago. If you trust someone easily, chances are high that he can back stab you. That's why he is always keeping his guards high since then.

Jungkook didn't matter to him anymore until 2 months ago. He was just the father of his pup. But then suddenly, he asked him for a chance. His first thought was to deny him without a breath.

But Jungkook sounded so confident about it. For the first time, he wanted to break his confidence, his ego. He remembers the time when he insulted him for weak. This time, he wanted to see how much the other can do for him. If he is really acting, then he can't act for a long time. Someday, he will show his reality.

A few days later

It was midnight and Taehyung was sleeping with Daehyeon in his room where he heard some faint screams and hustles.

He woke and looked around him but couldn't find anything. Then when he heard the warning bell, his eyes widened upon realisation.

The warning bell indicates that their pack in under attack. Suddenly he heard the twisting of the door knob. Sweats gathered in his forehead and his whole body started to shiver in fear. He took the knife kept beside the fruit tray and took it.
