Karan was listening all which pree was speaking to herself, he was outside her room. He got confused but breaking his confused thoughts he knocked her door & said:
Preeta! Pree (turned confusingly): abhii to ap gaye thy, sab khairiat hai? Karan (smiles): First of all mujhy ye AP AP keh kar mat bulao, TUM keh kar bat karo ya nam sy bulana ok? Pree: Ohk (smiled), lekin hua kya hai? Karan: Wallet air phone bhul gaya hon yehan. Pree: oh, ye raha bed pr. Karan: Thankyou! Btw kahan job karti ho? Office kidhar hai? Pree: JKL road Karan: usi road py mera bhi office hai so, if you are comfortable to mery sath chalna kal sy drop kardon ga mao tumhien, chalo gi? Pree: umm🤔 ohk lekin mera off late hota hai to wapis mai khud hi ajaon gi Karan (smiles): fine, then kal Subha 8:30 sharp! Pree: ok (smiled back) Karan: btw ye room mera hai samny wala r ye.. (giving his card to her) number hai mera. Pree: I'll msg you, thanks!
He left.
Karan in room on bed thinking:
Ye mujhy aur Rishab ko jo feel hua wahi Preeta ko bhi feel hua, what a coincidence! (He sleept while thinking)
Morning: At 8:30 Karan went to Preeta, she was coming downstairs.
Karan: heyy! Mai uper hi aaraha tha Pree: Hy. Mai bhi tumhary hi pas aarahi thi, chalien? Karan: yup!
He droppedat office & left for his office. İn two weeks they all became very good friends.
But on day Preeta didn't reach home on time & it was raining heavily. Karan was worried about her.
Karan to himself: I hope she is fine lekin ye aie kyu nahi hai abhi tak.
Suddenly his phone rang, caller ID shown "UNKNOWN NUMBER". He picked. From other side:
Hello!
Preeta?
Pehchan liya?
Kahan ho? Abhii tak kyu nahi aie ho? Thek to ho na? (He asked in one breath)
Han mai thek hon lekin barish boht tez hai, mujhy leny asakty ho?
Han Han abhii aya mai, tension nahi lo aaraha hon mai.
Ok! To ajaoo jab to msg kardena.
Ok!
He immediately took umbrella & left for her office. He reached & called her.
Hello! Han Preeta aai agaya hon bahir ao.
Bss 2 min.
He was standing at main gate holding umbrella for her.
Preeta came: Uhh! Thanks pick karny ky liay. Karan: Thankyou choro aur chalo. Pree: Mujhy na barish boht pasnd hai to ye umbrella tum hi rakho😊 Karan: Isko phir band hi kardety hn kyu ky barish mujhy bhi boht pasnd hai 😄
There were many stairs from which they were coming down. On stairs:
Pree: ek masla hai yarr! Karan (confused): Kya? Pree: mai na aksar aisy geli stairs py slip hojati hon to agr mind na karo to hath pakar lon tumhara?
He didn't replied & held her hand & entwined their fingers, both smiled looking at each other.
Pree: girny mat dena warna chot lag jaye gi mujhy. Karan (stopped on stairs): promise karta hon, kabhi nahi girny don ga!
She confusingly looked him.
Karan (in mind): ye Kya Keh diya? Kya hogayaa nujhy? Said to her: I....I mean k nahi giro gi tum agr giri bhi to mai bacha lon ga Pree (smiled): dekhty hn!
Last steps of stairs were super wet so he left her hand & said:
Ruko, boht geli hn ye stairs aur pani bhi kafi zyada hai to mai utarta hon pehly phir tumhien utarta hon. Pree: ok lekin dheyan sy!
He went down & held out his hand to hold her hand & said:
Aram sy dekh kar, han!
Preeta held his hand tightly & on the last step she slipped but with a sudden action Karan held her by waist. She closed her eyes as she thought she is gonna fall. Her one hand was in Karan's hand & other was on his shoulder while Karan's one hand was holding Preeta's & other on her waist.

He was lost in her innocent face.
(Both are still drenching in rain).Preeta realised that she is notfallen infact she is in Karan's arms. She opened & her eyes & Karan made her stand by breaking his Dreamland thoughts.
Karan: Dekha, nahi girny diya na (proudly said 😎) Preeta: Thankyou so much! (Smiled😊) Opened the door of car for her😍❤️
Karan: Chalo betho car mai.
