Chapter 14: Regulus's Birthday Weekend Day 2

James woke up with his arms around the younger black. He smiled to himself and looked down at boy. He still wondered what Regulus was going to tell him and then he saw Barty on the other bed taking photos and smirking. "Don't post those and please tell everyone we will be down when Regulus wakes up."

"To late and Okay." Barty said as he ran out of the room. The two of them stayed like that for another hour when James felt movement under his arms. "Happy Birthday Reggie."

"Thanks." Regulus mumbled, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "Did you hear what I said last night?"

"No."

"Okay good."

They all ate and gave Regulus their presents. The couples got him gifts together since there were a lot of people. Wolfstar got him chocolates and A new guitar. Dorlene got him matching love necklaces to give to his future lover. Narlily gave him money to use so he can get his ears pierced. Pandora and Mary got him more chocolates. Barty got him a condom as a joke and Peter got him more chocolates and a Pride shirt to where when he goes to the parade on Tuesday.

The only person he didn't get a present from was James. After that they all went to the lake. A highlight of going to the lake was when Regulus and James threw Lily in the lake because she wouldn't quit suntanning.

After the lake they went hiking and a highlight was when they spotted a family of deer and they all sat down and watched them for awhile.

Now they were all getting ready for the party. Barty and Sage were setting up downstairs well everyone else got ready. "Once again thank you so much James." Regulus smiled.

"And like I already said, anything for you Reggie." He said putting his shoes on. "You almost ready though?"

"Yeah I'm done. Let's go down."

The party was literally like a repeat of Sirius's birthday because they did the same things in the same order. Remus danced to "Real Slim Shady" on top of the table and Lily and James performed to "Seventeen". After that the couples slow danced. James and Peter danced together platonically and so did Barty and Regulus. When Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie turned on, everyone kept switching who they were dancing with and at the end of the song everyone formed a circle around Regulus.

He thought it was for singing happy birthday or something until James walked in the middle and stood in front of him. "James what are you doing?" Regulus asked, confused. James grabbed his hand and spun him around once. "What I should have done 7 months ago." James said, pulling him closer and then lightly pushing him away.

Sirius cheered him on. "You got this Prongs!!" Frank changed the music to Still into you. Regulus's heart dropped when he James started singing, why is James always so damn extra. "Can't count the years on one hand, that we've been together." Regulus smiled at him.

"I need the other one to hold you. Make you feel, make you feel better." He sang, moving his hands to Regulus's hips. Regulus rolled his eyes, jokingly and laughed at James's singing.

"It's not a walk in the park to love each other, but when our fingers interlock. Can't deny, can't deny you're worth it. 'Cause after all this timeee i'm still into you."

"Your singing is terrible!!" Regulus laughed, shaking his head.

"I should be over all the butterflies." He sang louder than before. "But I'm into you."
