Chapter 4

Nicki: full house

She put her cards down on the table as all the others gave in. She smiled and collected her winning from the middle of the table.

Chyna: I can't stand you

Nicki: well I'm out on this round so you might stand a chance

She got up and went and got herself a drink.

Nicki: anyone want anything

They all refused but she was met by the response of a deep voice.

King: wouldn't mind a drink

Nicki: wasn't asking you sir

King: I see how it is. So what are you ladies doing

Lola: cards

Amber: nothing out of the ordinary. You wanna play King

King: no I'm good

He diverted his attention to Nicki and put his arm around her waist before speaking in her ear.

King: I came to speak to you

Nicki: what do you want

King: bit private really

Nicki: I'll come and see you in a minute

He kissed down her neck before moving away from her and heading out the room.

King: later ladies

With that he walked out and left. Nicki went and sat down while the girls just side eyes her.

Nicki: what

Amber: what did he want

Nicki: he didn't say, I'll go and see him in a minute

Chyna: very demanding isn't he

Nicki: sometimes too demanding

Nicki walked into his office and found him stood reading something on his phone. He looked up and put his phone away before walking over to her and wrapping his arms around her. He inhaled her scent before letting hands roam her figure.

Nicki: what did you want to speak to me about

King: it can wait, I've missed you

Nicki: I've missed you too, but not now

King: why not

Nicki: I told the girls I'd be back

King: I won't take long

He kissed down her neck and cupped her ass.

King: I haven't seen you in a month

Nicki: that's why I'd rather wait till later. I don't wanna rush it.

She removed herself from his grip before walking around his office just letting herself venture around the familiar room before coming to a stop by his bar.

Nicki: what did you want to talk to me about

He followed behind her and just wrapped his arms around her body as he rested his head on her shoulder.

King: well 25K went missing from the safe a couple of days before I left and still no one has owned up to that. But since then more has gone missing.

Nicki: so you think it was me

King: no, there's a reason i gave you that pin; I trust you. But what I'm asking is, is there anyone you might have told the pin to

Nicki: no one I know of. I haven't a been there in a while and I always make sure I'm alone when I do.
