Dr: and there's your baby

Nicki smiled as the doctor pointed out where her baby was located. After taking the pregnancy tests yesterday she had to be sure that she was definitely carrying a baby and this trip to the doctors had just confirmed it.

Dr: so I'll get you your vitamins and print you some pictures of baby and you should be on on your way.

Nicki looked at the ultrasound pictures and just smiled to herself. She picked the one that clearly showed the baby before getting an envelope and putting it inside. She sealed it before simply writing 'King' on the front. She walked into Queen of Hearts and made her way to kings office. She already knew he wasn't in so she had no worries of bumping into him. She put the envelope on his desk and walked out. She bumped into Chyna on her way out who was coming to rehearse.

Chyna: hey boo

Nicki: hey babe.

Chyna: how you feeling today

Nicki: much better. It's easier to know how to deal with it once you know what's wrong

Chyna: yeah, where you headed now then ? Have you spoken to him

Nicki shook her head.

Nicki: the last time spoke to him was last night when he came to my dressing. Haven't heard from him since. Kind of a good thing if you ask me, means I don't have to deal with him through all this

Chyna: how are you gonna avoid him though

Nicki: I'm going to New York to stay with my brother for a few days. It will give me a chance to take everything in and it will give him a chance to cool off

Chyna: so what do we tell him if he asks.

Nicki: you tell him nothing. If he finds out he's gonna be furious with me. You gotta promise me you'll let him calm down and not tell him where I am

Chyna bit her lip already knowing that she was taking on a difficult role.

Nicki: please chy

Chyna: okay

Nicki brought her into an embrace and Chyna just held her.

Nicki: only tell him if you think it's becoming a risk for yourself. Don't allow him to hurt you over it. This is my issue not yours.

Chyna: okay, just look after yourself okay

Nicki: I will babe, I'll see you next week

They shared another hug before Nicki went on her way.

Nicki sat watching TV in Kai's condo as she waited for him to get home from work. He had come to pick her from the airport during his lunch break and had dropped her off at his apartment. She heard the front door open and close and keys be placed down on the table before hearing her brother call out for her.

Nicki: in the living room

He made his way to the living room and took a seat on the couch before placing her legs in his lap.

Kai: what's up sis

Nicki: nothing major

Kai: what did you get up to while I was at work

Nicki: took a nap, woke up and watched some judge judy

Kai: did you eat anything

Nicki: nope
