Chapter 1: The crew

You stared at the bloody mess in front of you, the streets dyed red.

"Join my crew." You said looking at the swordsman who was covered in blood, bodies of citizens laying around.

Everyone else who was in the streets had already ran away, afraid of the insane swordsman on his killing spree in the town. He turned and glared at you.

"Hah?! Why would I do that?" He says as You pulled out a sword. His eyes widened and his jaws dropped.

"I-is that?" You nodded and threw it at him. He threw his other swords on the ground and caught the one you threw at him and pulled it out.

"Stole that cursed sword. Well I didn't really steal it. I'm pretty sure it's a grade sword. The person owning it just gave it to me saying to get rid of it. If you join my crew, I'll get you more swords."

"I'm sure it'll suit you well." He paused and looked at you. He drew the sword and placed it at your neck. You just stood there silently. The male stood silent before he placed the cursed sword where his old sword was.

"Alright then. I'll join. But it better be fun, captain." He said as you smirked.

That was the official start of the Red phoenix pirates.

idk if yall watched that filler, but the phoenix and the red phoenix pirates are two different crews. Or you can just pretend they don't exist in this story, since there will be no mentions of them.

Sighing, you looked down at the self proclaimed navigator. Your first mate, Kenji , stood besides you, two cursed sword in his hands, one pointed at the mans throat.

You sighed as he looked up at you in fear. "Please..." He whimpered as you shook your head, kicking him off you.

"So you lied huh?" you said looking down at him. "Get rid of him." You said, turning your back to the man, who was begging you to spare his life.

Walking back to the ship, you could hear the screams suddenly disappear. Kenji came back with blood dripping off his blade.

"What now captain? That one was a fake." He said as you nodded.

You opened your mouth to reply to him when you heard a voice call out to you.

"Hey!" you turned and faced the direction where the voice came from. He ran to you, breathing heavily.

"Please! Let me be your navigator!" He cried as you looked him up and down. You nod seeing the paper in his pockets. He looked a bit weak and innocent.

"I will allow it. But the only way for you to join, is by surviving 2 minutes with my swordsman here. We don't need weaklings to drag us down." You said as Kenji approached the man.

"Of course!" He said confidently.

You stood back as the fight began. The new guy was quite agile. And surprisingly, he even managed to land a few hits on kenji.

Deciding you've seen enough, you stopped them. "And what are you looking for? What is your goal?' you ask as he looked up.

"I don't have a goal really." He said as you sighed. "Fine. Welcome navigator. Your mine now. You better get used to the bloody messes you will see with the time you spend with us." He grinned.

"Yes Ma'am!"

You sat down and crossed your legs and propped your chin up with your fist.

"Understand that while on my ship, you will follow my orders." you said as he nodded.

"Let me introduce myself. I am Y/n L/n. The captain of the Red phoenix pirates. I have the bone-bone fruit. I can basically control other people's bones and my own." You said as he nodded.

"As soon as we have more members, we will change ships, so don't get attached to this one. Now show me how useful you are navigator. Were heading towards the next closest island." You said as he ran over to the helm, turning it as the ship changed courses.

Timeskip cus why not-

It's been almost 5 months since your first mate and swordsman joined you. During this time, you accepted many people to your crew, and a few cabin boys for entertainment. Because your crew grew quite large, you needed a bigger ship. A ship big enough for at least 100 people.

Your ship was upgraded a bunch of times, modified and reinforced with your devil fruit.

The huge ship has 2 kitchens, 10 private rooms, 50 rooms each have 3 bathrooms for the crew members living there, and below the ship, were cells and a dungeon. And very so often, you could hear screams coming from below.

A rather lustrous seat was placed at the end of the deck, in front of the entrance to the inside of the ship.

You sat on your 'throne', and looked at the newest member, already beat up, laying on the deck, surrounded by your crew.

You grinned. "It seems you can not do much, BOY." You said as he winced in pain, looking up at you. The members surrounding him laughed and kicked at him.

"Hey Captain! What do we do with him?" One of the few female members ask, her face slightly red as you hummed, standing up, twirling a dagger in your hand.

You kneeled down and lifted his head up. "You have potential." You said dragging the dagger down his cheek.

"But useless right now." You pushed the dagger into his cheek as he let out a short scream. You dragged the dagger down, creating a deep cut from his cheek to his chin before standing up.

"I want another swordsman." You said and sat back down as Kenji nodded. He walked over to the boy, his blood dripping onto the wood below him. He grabbed the boy and pulled him up forcefully, dragging him into the ship.

(There's a small training room in the ship big enough for 2 people to train in-)

You sighed as another fight started already. This time, one of the crew members was picking on a weaker bandit you accepted. And of course, within minutes, he was killed.

You sighed and looked out at the sea. "Remember to clean up the mess everyone. And remember who to kill and who NOT to kill. Understand?" You hissed out the last sentence.

The crew cheered before fighting random members on the deck as some of the others just sat next to your seat, watching.

"Captain! How are you today?' one of the female members ask, handing you a bottle of cold sake. You hummed and popped it open, taking a sip.

"Not that bad. You. I want your name." You said pointing at the girl who handed you your drink. She had Long black hair with yellow eyes. Her face heated up as you stared at her.

"Ah! M-my name is Andra and i have the panther-panther fruit!" She said staring at you. You blinked at her.

"Zoan?" you ask as she nodded. You took another sip of sake before smiling at her.

"Sounds useful." you said as her face turned red and steam rose out of her head.

"T-the captain just called me useful..." she muttered as she collapsed, another member catching her. (Simp-)

"Andra? Andra! Are you alright?" She asks as you stare at the blushing girl.

To say in the least, you were attractive. With your beautiful E/c eyes and silky h/c hair. They respect you, and fear you. You can keep them in check.

You paused, looking at the black haired girl.

"You." You said at the girl holding Andra.

"When she wakes up, tell her to come see me. I'll be in my office." You said as she nodded.

"Yes Captain!"

"Oh. And call a doctor for the rest of the crew." you said turning to the ones who are still fighting.

"Throw the bodies overboard and clean the blood off." You said as you pushed open your office door and walked inside, the door slamming shut behind you.
