The Worst Generations Duo (Eustass Kid x reader)

Chapter 15: Leaving

"That's straw hat luffy...!" Kidd said as you let go of his arm.

"Ah! And here i was thinking i won't get to see him!" You said as kenji made his way over to you.

"Y/n-san. I have a bad feeling. It's best we leave." He said as you shook your head.

"Nah. I wanna see this. As long as nothing too crazy happens I'll be fine." You said grinning. The swordsman by your side narrowed his eyes, and his hand reached for the cursed sword you have given him when you first met him.

"Of course y/n-san." He said stepping to your side. You watched silently as luffy punches the celestial dragon, and him doing everything he can to try to save the mermaid, camie.

Soon enough, his crew got involved too. "Just like the rumors said..."

"Yeah. He's one crazy bastard." Kidd said as he made his way over to you. You hummed and nodded. The suddenly, someone flew past you and crashed into a celestial dragon. Hearing the female celestial dragon scream, you couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

You then heard the orange haired girl, nami say "We have to hurry before the warship and admiral get here!"

'Admiral? I thinks it's too late for that.' You thought to yourself.

"The navy's already here straw hat-ya.." Law said.

"Who're you? And what's with that bear?" Luffy asks as you sweatdropped a bit. Does he perhaps not know who the worst generations are?

"They've had the place surrounded before the auction even began. Navy headquarters has a post on this archipelago you see."

'Do they really?'

"I don't know who they wanted to catch, but i doubt they expected anyone would beat  up the celestial dragons." He said before letting out a laugh. "That was an interesting show you gave, Straw hat-ya crew."

"You must be trafalgar law." Robin said as you glanced at her. "Luffy, he's a pirate."

"Ah? The bear too?" Luffy asks looking at bepo.

"And the two over there..." Robin then turned to look at you and kidd. "Eustass captain kid, and y/n l/n."

"Eh?!" The skeleton spoke. "Those are the ones with a higher bounty then Luffy-san?!"  A smirk grew on your face.

You hummed and watched as the female celestial dragon from earlier pointed a gun at cami. But before she could pull the trigger, she suddenly passed out.

"Eh?" You muttered to yourself.

The back of the large stage was ripped open by a large pair of hands, and a white-haired man walked out. He looked old.

"Erk..." You watched as the man laughed. Before long, 'every enemy had passed out.

"Is he..." Kidd sad, law following after him.

"It couldn't be..."

"Every good pirate should know who he is..." You added staring. You could only watch with a slight smirk silently as he ripped off the collar from the neck of the mermaid. 

"You must be quite strong to have withstood that with no problems at all." The man said walking over to luffy.

"I never expected to meet such a big shot here..." Kidd said. "Dark king Silvers Rayleigh. No doubt about it. What's a legendary man doing in a place like this?"

"On these islands i'm Ray-san the coating craftsman." He responded. "Don't go calling me that other name. I'm an old soldier now. I just want to live in peace and quiet." He then knelt down to the fish man on the ground.

"I take it you'll survive, hachi?" You stole a glance at kidd before drowning out what rayleigh was saying and once again leaned against him.

"I'm getting tired kidd." You mutter as he glance down at you.

"Eh?"

"First it's the marine fleet, then the lack of supplies, then it's this shit. Honestly, when can i ever catch a break? I thought this wouldn't turn crazy, but of course i'm wrong." You sigh, moving in front of kid, and grabbed his arm, unfolding them before you wrapped your arms around him, pushing your face slightly into his chest and got yourself comfortable. Since he wasn't saying anything, you turned your head to glance up at him.

"Kidd?"

The red head stared down at you for a second too long, and you glanced away. "Nevermind." You mutter. However, what you didn't notice was that a few other people was watching you and kidd together in complete confusion, and slight shock. The male you were hugging eventually got it together and was too distracted to notice the eyes on the two of you, and just continued to watch the events unfold.

"They have the palace completely surrounded boss." Heat said. You listened in of course.  You could hear the loud announcements made by some marine, which triggered you.

Moving yourself off of kid, you took a deep  breath in. "Ah. So annoying. It's too loud you shits." You said, a few of your ribs left your body and became harder and sharper. You sent them flying out of the auction house, and heard a few yelps.

"Tsk. I missed."

"We're not only caught up in this, we're being treated as accomplices now." Law said as you glanced at him.

"I got a good glimpse of the insanity that makes straw hat luffy so notorious.I have no complaints, but i'd rather not run into an admiral now if i can avoid it." Kidd said, and you nod your head in agreement.

"Oh, I'd prefer not to use that power of mine anymore, so i leave this to you. It'll be hard for me to stay settled down if they navy discovered who i am."

"I have no intention of helping out a senior citizen! The longer we stay here, the more troops there'll be!" You sighed. Yep. That's how kidd is like. "I think I'll go on ahead. While i'm at it, i'll help you guys out too!" He said walking away.

You took out your den den mushi and sent a quick message to your crew, and told them to leave without you and use the vivere card to find you. You had kept the vivere card you had in a glass box, and it sat on top of your desk.

"I'll clean up things outside, so don't worry." He said as law and luffy turned to him, with slighty angry and annoyed faces.

You smiled and grabbed kidd's arm as the two captains walked next to the two of you, bickering as they went.

"I told you i'll do it!" Luffy said pointing to himself.

"Shut up!"

"I'm gonna do it!"

"Get outta here."

"Shut up you guys!"

"I told you, leave it to me!" Kid said as you nod, huffing.

"No! I'm gonna do it!" Luffy said once again.

"No! How about i do it, along with kid, so you two can take the time to get away?"

"What?! No way!"

"Don't tell me what to do."

"You guys just don't get it." As the sun shone into your eyes, you hummed.

"Damn. That's a lot of marines." You said looking at them. They all looked so nervous and scared.

"Alright. You guys can go back inside." Luffy said as you frowned.

"Hey! Are you even listening? I told you two to stay back!" Kidd sad as you began to grow annoyed.

"Tell me what to do again and i'll start by getting rid of you first, Eustass-ya!"

"HAH?! Him first? Not until you go through me! I'll kill you before you can touch him!" You knew that kidd didn't need your protection. He could take care of himself. But with Law's devil fruit, things would get complicated.

The marines were saying something to each other, but with your short patience right now, you cut them off.

"Look here. I'm tired, and i'm going to drop before the admirals get here at this point. Hurry up and finish this. I doubt my crew will get away in time if they wait for me, so I'm counting on you kidd."
