The Worst Generations Duo (Eustass Kid x reader)

Chapter 18: Escape!

Killer was the first to run up to the warlord to attack. The moment killer jumped back, heat opened his mouth a set the warlord on fire.

"How do you like that?! You're charred black!" Killer said. But kuma just shook it off.

Get back kid pirates!" law's crew said and attacked Kuma themselves. Law's crew doesn't seem to use much weapons considering all the three are doing is punching and kicking him back. But when bepo kicked Kuma's leg, it was him who cried out in pain.

"Oww! So hard!" Law created a room, and shambled the slave he freed earlier with bepo.

"How irritating. How about this then?!" Using the metal he had gathered, he crushed kuma. "Troublesome bastard."

'Cool.' You thought to yourself. 'incredibly, and stupidly cool.'

Kid turned and began walking away, while you stared at kuma.

"Kid. Its not over yet..." You said glancing at law. "When did he-!"

The moment you turned back, Kuma was standing behind kid. "Looks like you still haven't had enough of me!" Kid said as you tensed up. This wasn't good.

Kuma took off his gloves, and raised his hand at kid. Your eyes widened when you spot the hole in his hand.

"Fuck."

As quickly as you can, you pulled out as many bones and formed them into a large dome, and jumped in front of the two pirate groups, using your bone to cover them. Since the kuma in front of you was a fake, you can't do anything to it. You can only be useful for defence right now.

After a second, a large explosion was heard, and pain erupted from inside of your body as the bones began to crack. It didn't bother you at all. If the others were in better shape, they can fight more easily. You can only shield them, and you were running low on energy, so even you can't keep up the defenses for forever.

"L/n-!"

"Oi law..." You mutter, trying to hold in a cough. But you knew you were going to fail if you kept talking. "Can't you like... do something? And fast?"

You let down the bone dome once you knew it was safe. Law immediately created a room the moment the dome was down. But The marine military weapon shot a beam at law, causing his room to break.

"All you can do is shoot beams?!"

"There they are! Trafalgar law captain of the heart pirates Eustass captain kid, captain of the kid pirates, and y/n l/n, captain of the Red phoenix pirates! Don't let them escape!"

"Oh fuck." You cursed wiping your mouth. "Marines."

Two of law's group charged at kuma, trying to force their way through, and killer went to attack kuma's leg, causing it to stagger.

Kid gathered even more weapons, and blocked a beam kuma fired at him with the metal arm. "Repel!" A ball of metal flew towards kuma, but he shot a beam at it and destroyed it.

"Urk..." You coughed. Even after protecting the two captains, and Kenji supporting you, the two are breathing heavily.

"It's coming!" Law said. Kuma shot a beam at them, kid and law dodged, the beam ending up hitting a group of marines behind them.

"Hey you, damn warlord of the sea!" Kid said as you glance at him.

"This time, i'll kick the shit outta you!" As kuma shot a beam at him, kidd blocked it with the metal arm, but it still exploded in the end.

"Kid!" Killer yelled.

"Repel!" You mentally sighed in relief as you heard kidd's voice, despite not seeing him. A huge amount of metal flew out of the smoke, and knocked kuma back, sending him flying. It seems that he had repealed all the metal he had on his left arm.

"Kid!" You yell as he clutched his right shoulder, the metal on that arm falling off. He then walked over to kuma.

"No one's ever been hit by that and gotten up afterwards." He said.

Just as you were about to celebrate, electricity came from kuma as he slowly stood up, kidd taking a few steps back. "What? This thing's a machine?! A cyborg?"

Kuma aimed at kid again, and you were fully prepared to jump in front of him to take the hit instead. But lucky for you, law created a room and stuck his sword in an exposed part of the machinery, stopping the attack.

You couldn't hear what law was saying to kid at the moment, because your vision was beginning to fade in and out. The bones you use was all your bones, and will have a side effect on you if they break. Usually, if the bones you control broke, the backlash wouldn't be so bad, because they were other people's bones, and not yours.

But one thing you did hear, was law saying "Our next guests have arrived."

Struggling to stand up straight, you turned to see marines charging towards you, before stopping when they saw bepo.

"A polar bear?!" They stared in mainly confusion before the huge man law saved knocked the marines all out with a punch.

You sighed before following after kid, lagging slightly behind. Blocking out whatever the two captains were saying, you glanced up at the sky. Something large was coming down. You gasped and pulled kidd and law back as the giant figure landed in front of you, and without a second later, charged straight at you and the two other captains.

In this moment, your brain was a complete mess. You had two options. protect the two and end up passing out right after, or rely on the two to fight and be complete dead weight. No matter what you choose, you would be dead weight in the end.

"I hope you guys can support me a bit!" You said and used all your strength to push the two in different directions and jump up into the air right after. Luckily, you were only scratched slightly, and in the end, everyone was safe.

"Hey kid. I seriously don't feel too good. The backlash is getting to me. As soon as this battle is over, you better take me to your ship." You shouted and grabbed a marine, pushing him down. This time, you have people to use as sacrifices.

To insure the safety of the other two captains, you were going to use all your energy to hold back the marines while they fight kuma.

Bones were getting ripped out of marines left and right before being brought to your side.

You spat out a bit of blood before taking a deep breath in and smirked at them.

"Come bring it on you bastards."
