Chapter 17: Warlord?

As you and kidd were staring at the teen, a marine had swung his axe at kid. Luckly, killer moved fast, and stopped the marines attack before it could do any harm.

"Hey kid! What're you doing just standing there for?!"

"You know, killer... on our journey up to this point we've been laughed at and ridiculed whenever we mentioned getting our hands on the one piece, of course, l/n was the first that didn't." He said glancing at you quickly.

"And each time that happened, I slaughtered everyone who laughed. But what lies ahead is a sea of death for those who don't got the guts to mention it." He said now facing the marines running at them.

"Let's meet again in the new world!" He said as your smile grew. "Let's go men!"

"Yeah!"

You then turned to your cursed swordsman. "You too. We're going to have to leave with kids crew." Without another word, the swordsman sliced off the head of a marine.

And you yourself was fighting off marines left and right. You hummed when you heard water splashing. The straw hats ran off with the flying fish.

"L/n!" You heard Kidd yell. You turned to see him slighting waving you over. "Kenji! Time to go." You said as he nodded and walked over to you.

Following kid across the bridge, you watched as he destroyed it so the marines couldn't chase after the group.

"They're still chasing us, even after we demolished the bridge!" One of kids crew member said.

"Of course they are." He responded. "There should be soldiers back in town too. Let's get the hell off these islands." Suddenly, something bright flew at kid, and left a cut on his leg.

"Kid!" You yell before glancing at where the light came from.

"There." He said.

"Is that...."

"What is that?" You said eyes wide.

"What's... he doing on this island?" Kid said as you froze. Him? You looked at the figure closed, and your eyes grew even wider.

"L/n!" He yelled at you, who was still spacing out.

Without any other choice, kid pulled in some metal, before going to attack. And for some reason, you couldn't control the bones in the warlords body.

"Fuck. I'm so useless in situations like this..."

"Captain look!" You heard someone yell.

"Eustass-ya, l/n-ya, and... that's...!" Law's eyes widened. "What's a warlord of the sea doing here?" You heard him say.

"Trafalgar law..."

"How do you know my name?" He said and got ready to attack as well.

It didn't respond to law's question, and instead opened its mouth, and a bright light began gathering.

"Fuck! Avoid it!" You yell. The light was released, and caused a explosion.

"This guy acts at random." You heard kid say.

"Trafalgar! Stay out of my way." Kid said glancing at said male.

"Do you want to be destroyed? I told you not to tell me what to do."

"Watch your mouth Trafalgar. I'll pierce your heart with your own ribs before you can touch a hair on his head.

"Tch. You're like a protective girlfriend. Is he that weak?"

"Hey!" You yell at him. "He's not weak! My devil fruit just works better on you you little shit!" You cursed at him. "If you think for a second that he's weak, you're wrong! He can beat you no problem!"

While you were yelling at law, the red head captain you were talking about had his face heat up in slight embarrassment , though it only lasted a minute.

"Anyways, we're running into unexpected big-shots today. I'd rather not add an admiral to that list." Law said as to turn back to kid.

"My devil fruit Seems to be useless on him." You said. "But it won't hurt to try."

Using your devil fruit, you removed bone after bone from your own body. Since they regenerate extremely fast, you had no problem with it.

Soon, bones surrounded you, and you aimed the at the warlord, sending them flying at him. As you expected, it didn't do much damage.

"So... you will let us pass.... Bartholomew Kuma!"
