Chapter 25: Berserker

You've been walking around wano for almost 4 days now, sleeping anywhere you can find, eating some random animals, which were of course, edible. You hummed when you spotted something walking around. It looked like... BIG MOM?!

You choked on the meat you were eating, causing you to cough harshly. You then looked over and ran over to them, yelling for chopper, who was sitting there with a few people you don't know.

"Oi! Chopper!" You yelled as he stopped the crocodile looking animal.

"Oh Y/n-san!" He said as you reached them. You then climbed up the animal, and walked over to chopper.

"Who are they? And why is big mom here?" You ask as chopper whispered to you.

"Big mom lost her memories." He said.

"How in the world did that happen?" You mutter to yourself before  turning to the two people sitting there staring at you.

"Are you also luffy-san's friend?" One of them asks as you shook your head.

"No we just know each other." You said before sitting down, ignoring them as they started a conversation between themselves. Other than walking around for days, you were still looking for kid. There was a small chance he could be in wano, since it was a closed off country. The reason why you didn't go to the flower capital was because you knew for a fact that some of the straw hats would be there.

As the day turned to night, Big mom was beginning to get more and more hungry. You got more and more anxious as you enter Udon, and a large factory looking place starts to get closer. That was the destination. The strange feeling began surfacing up more and more every time the giant animal took a step forwards.

And so, after a few minutes, you stood up.

"Y/n-san?" Kikunojo said as you glanced at her, with a strange expression she couldn't name.

"I don't have a good feeling." You said and reached down to grab chopper, placing your arm around him for slight comfort.

"It's a weird feeling." You said looking down at the reindeer. "I feel like if i take a single step into that prisoner mine i'll..." You fell silent, leaving Kikunojo confused.

"Y/n?" She says as you shake your head.

"It's nothing."

The next day, the prison was fully in sight now. Big mom got up, and jumped off the animal the moment we reached the front gate, causing the animal to pass out. Big mom made quick work of the guards, before slamming into the front gate. A while later, she ripped the gate open.

"Jeez. She just loves food..." You mutter walking behind big mom as she once again, cleared the place. Eventually, the third gate was also opened. You walked past big mom, and moved to the side to look around the place.

The first thing you noticed was luffy and queen. Then, big mom yelled towards the gates. "Otama-chan! I smell red bean soup! Let's eat it together!"

"She really is different from her usual self... I prefer this big mom over whole cake island big mom though."

"I heard i could eat a lot of it here, so i came all the way!"

"Screw that! Who told you such nonsense?" Queen said as you sigh. "Did you come to steal it knowing its my most favorite?"

"Heh?"

The sound of chains reached your ears, and you turned to see what the cause of the sound was. Your eyes widen when you spot extremely familiar clothing, and you took a step forwards.

"I... is that..."

"Hey, wait, you fools! Pull them out first!" Luffy yelled, pointing at the large tank, which seems to be filled with water.

"While you were talking idly, Jaggy and the other guy will drown!"

Jaggy... Didn't luffy call kidd that when we were in sab...

"Ah." You muttered, ignoring how queen had transformed into some dinosaur thing. Your eyes were on the chains and the two people dangling, half their body in water. Everything else in your vision seems to fade to black, and everything turns silent as well.

Missing arm. Scars. chained. Water torture. There was only a single thought in your head before you lost consciousness.

'How dare you?!'

As Chopper and Kikunojo reached the inside of the prison, the first thing they saw was Big mom and queen. The second thing they saw, was you, walking towards the middle of the animal kingdom pirates, who were quick to surround you.

"Y/n!" chopper called out to you. Seeing that you didn't respond, he thought that there was something wrong. He never expected you to disappear in the blink of an eye, only to appear in front of the tank. A bone left your arm, and was shaped into a sharp blade. You stuck the bone into the tank, and dragged it down, causing water to flow out, and for queen to turn to glance at what was happening.

but he didn't stop you. Right now, he was thinking about red bean soup. Eventually, the water ran out and your hands dropped to your side. CHopper was about to call to you, when he noticed something.

"Hey Kikunojo-san..."

"Hm? Yes?"

"D-do you see that thing stuck to Y/n's back? I...Isn't that her spine?!"

Chopper was right. Your spine was indeed not inside your body, but outside, lining your back. Bones left your body, some floating next to you, some stuck in your skin, and turned into sharp blades. A few of your bones then wrapped around your forearm, and hardening. You also had two bones on the side of your cheek, running up to your eye.

Your leg was also covered in bones, and some of the bones moved to your hand, creating claws that looked like they were hard enough to break diamonds. Your eyes were rolled to the back of your head, and they were starting to have a faint red glow to them.

"C-chopper?! What's happening to y/n-san?!" Kikunojo aksed, worried at the strange transformation.

"This happened once..." Chopper replied. "But it wasn't this bad. She going berserk. I think it's one of the side effects of her devil fruit."

"Side effect?"

Copper nodded. "She told me a bit about it before. Her devil fruit revolves around bones, and it has a strange side effect. When her emotions get out of hand, she goes berserk, and basically forgets who is the enemy and who is the ally. She also gets... Unbelievably strong. Almost like a feral animal..." He says watching as you cut through the chains holding up the two people, dropping them into the bucket.

You then turned to the soldiers standing there with your now red eyes, and let out a growl before jumping into the crowd, cutting down enemy after enemy. The animal kingdom pirates began charging at the h/c haired girl, and it quickly became a one-sided slaughter.
