Bandit- I'll be over. I have to tell you something.
I started to get a little worried, what exactly did he have to tell me. Starring into my mirror to make sure I didn't look like a mess before he came over.
I was downstairs watching t.v. when I heard a little knock on the door.
"Hello," I said opening it.
"Hey ummm," Alex started as he looked down," Can we go somewhere else to talk."
"Uh sure, hold on a minute."
Alex turned around and walked down the steps, I told my grandparents I was going out for ice cream with him.
He drove us to Ice Dream, basically the only ice cream place in town. Alex pulled into a parking spot, turning off the car his hands still firm on the wheel just starring a head of him.
"Are we just gonna sit in here and talk?" I asked breaking the silence.
"No, we can go inside, unless you wanna stay in here."
"Let's go in."
"Okay."
I followed Alex in and the smell of sweets overwhelmed me, it smelled absolutely delish! We took a seat in the corner.
"So what do you have to tell me?"
"Do you want some ice cream," He asked ignoring the question.
"Later, now tell me."
"Clarissa has gone completly insane!"
"Why what's going on?" My brightened up.
"Giving me suicidal threats if I ever leave her and everything."
"What are you going to do?"
"You know how much I care about you, but I do not want to be responsible if she harms herself. I couldn't live with that."
"Well maybe that's a good thing."
"What? her harming herself. Bandit come on."
"You know its true, I've seen how she treats you. Like a puppet, she drags you around and has you do what she says!"
He looked around the room, ignoring the fact that was i right.
"Do you still have feelings for her?"
"No.... umm not really.... I don't, I don't even know," He stuttered.
"See you know I'm right!"
"I guess so."
"What are you going to do then?"
He began," I need to think about it."
"Well you better think fast before things get really bad."
"I know, you know me...I don't like hurting anyone."
I could see the hurt and stress in his eyes, how they were all glossy as if he was ready to cry. He then went up to the counter and odered us some ice cream. I starred out the window and watched how it started rain, the little drops running down the window. I always liked to think they're having a race to see which drop got to the bottom first.
"A fuge ripple sundae for you and a banana split for me," He said coming back and setting the ice cream in front of me.
"Thanks," I said taking a bite.
"Anytime," He told," Anything for you."
It was pretty much silent while we ate, Alex ate his ice cream like an animal who haven't eaten in weeks. But then the ice cream was gone and he led me outside. He told there was something he wanted to show me around back. I followed him to the back of the ice cream shop and thats when he pushed me up against the wall. He kissed me for what seemed forever and got this feeling of warmth all through my body. I've never felt like this before and was loving every minute of it. He took me in his arms and stood there hugging in the pouring rain.

Alex took me home and most of my clothes were dried, I didn't need them asking me a hundred questions. Especially grandma, she'd be yelling that I'm gonna catch a cold. I ran up the stairs into my room and grabbed some clean clothes. Walking into the bathroom throwing my clothes off, still having a smile on my face. I ran my fingers over my lips where his touched mine. I decided to take a shower and while waiting for the water I starred at myself at the mirror. I almost didn't recognize myself, I just looked healthier. I stepped into the shower and felt so relaxed, the images of me and Alex racing in my mind.
I was back in bed after my shower, I had three new messages on my phone. One from Alex, a voicemail from sage and another from the unknown. I opened the unknown first. It was a picture of me and Alex kissing and it said "Aww look at the love birds."
I was going to block the number, these constant mysterious jokes were getting out of control and I no longer wanted to deal with it. For once I was actually happy, finally happy and never felt this way before in years. Just cause some asshole is jealous doesn't mean their going to get away with it. Two can play this game.
