I spent the next week or so in the hospital, during those days Alex never came back. Not even replying to my texts. When I did go back to school, nothing changed and he wasn't even there. Its like he disappeared off the face of the earth. Like a ghost vanishing into thin air. I felt worthless, but what else is new. He was my soul, the only thing keeping me alive. If wasn't for him, I would be six feet under along with my parents. For as much as I wanted to be up in heaven with them, together again. Where I could feel no more pain, these hopeless emotions that go through my body each and every day. Something in my heart told me to stay. Everything was going to be okay or so I thought.

Alex- I don't know what I ever did honestly. Please talk to me Alex....please. You're my everything, the only point in this world why I'm alive. I'm tired of being.....alone.

I curled myself into a ball on my bed, crying and holding my pillow tight against me. Everything was going so perfect with him and now its all torn apart. I swear I kept checking my phone every two seconds. Waiting for him.

I was alone the next night, I told my grandparents they needed a night out. I layed on sofa in the living room most of the time eating popcorn and watching movies. Just when it was getting to the good part there was faint knock on the door. I went over to it and opened finding there was no one there except for a note laying on the ground.

It was folded neatly and I took it inside and sat back down. I was horrified to find it saying "The girl dies in the end....ha ha good choice of movie."

I threw the note across the room and hid under my blanket, this is truly a sick joke someone is playing on me. I stayed hidden and shaking, nows the time when I wish Alex was here. When getting enough courage I got out and grabbed the note. This was proof that I was NOT going insane. I turned off the lights and the t.v. and ran up to my room. Closing the door and locking it, then shutting my curtains. I stayed in the same position til my grandparents came home, hiding the note my night stand drawer so they wouldn't find it. Because surely I'd get asked a thousand questions. When I felt safe, I ventured downstairs. I talked to them their night out on the town and I was happy to hear that they had a great time, I hate lying to them but I had no choice, they could not know about the letter....yet.

I didn't get much sleep last night and had no clue on how I was supposed to function throughout the school day. Of course I got piles and piles of work to make up, but least it'll keep me busy and keep things off my mind. Alex showed up at school, but didn't bother talking to me. If I wanted to make this work, gotta make the first move.

I found him over by his locker and I turned him by tugging his shoulder," It would be nice of you to talk to me!"

"Okay."

"Seriously, where have you been all this time?"

"I needed to be by myself and think."

"About?"

"It's not important."

"Umm yes Alex it kind of is. Considering all this nonsense with creepy phone calls and shit are getting worse!"

"What is it this time."

"I don't have it with me, its back at my house....put away."

"Alright."

"I need you to come over later, 1.so you can tell me what your beef is lately and 2. I need to show the little present I got."

He finally agreed to meet me at my house. Once school let out, I ran all the way to my house, tripping over my own feet by the weight of my bag. I quickly scattered around picking up my papers. Out of breath I made it to my house, inside I threw my stuff on the sofa and went into the bathroom. Ya know gotta make myself look all pretty, why? I'm not so sure myself, but hey I can't go looking like a troll for when Alex comes over.

It was close to six o'clock when he came, Gramps let him in and said I was upstairs. I sat on the edge of my bed biting my nails nervous, like I've never met him before.

"Umm hey." He said peeking around the door.

"Sit," I said patting the spot next to me.

Coming over and sitting next to me," So what do you have to show me?"

"Here," I said going through my night stand and handing him the letter.

He skimmed over it and froze telling me that the handwritting was in fact Clarissa's.
