Nakabawi na rin sa wakas ang Doktora at chine-check na ang mga bata.

"As I checked the kids, they are very much healthy so far. I presume that you take care of your children very carefully." Tumuon ang mga mata nito kay Wreya.

"Yes, Doktora. Their health is my utmost priority everyday." Talaga lang. Hindi siya napapanatag kapag may isa sa triplets ang may sakit. Aligaga siya palagi nuon kapag may lagnat ang tatlo at alam niyang kahiy sinong nanay ay ganoon din pagdating sa kanilang mga anak.

"That is good to hear." Umupo ang Doktor sa silya nito habang ang mga bata ay nasa maliit na play pen sa silid na iyon. "And please, just call me Ninang too or Auntie Patty since you're the mother of my god-child." Matamis siya nitong nginitian. And she can tell that it is a genuine smile kaya ngumiti nalang din siya rito.

"O-okay po." Malaki naman ang ngiti ni Tres sa nasasaksihang pagkakalagayang loob ng dalawa.

"Well, I will give you the correct prescription of their Vitamins. Especially kay Terry because she has allergy. Also I will suggest you try this milk since you mentioned that they seem to dislike their current milk." May isinusulat ito sa isang papel bago ibinigay sa kanila. Si Wreya ang tumanggap nito at tiningnan yun bago nilagay sa sling bag niya. "I want you to bring the kids as often as you can but I suggest at least twice a month. Are we clear on that Tres?" Striktang tanong nito kay Tres.

"Of course Ninang."

"Good. Your top priority now are your kids and nothing else." Pagpapaalala nito.

"Yes po." Seryosong sagot nito.

"Okay, by the way. Does your mother know about this already?" Tanong nito na ikinakaba ni Wreya. Napatingin siya kay Tres na kalmado lang.

"Not yet Ninang. You know how she is. I am just trying to find the right time to tell her and Dad. Ayoko ring biglain ang pamilya ko tungkol sa bagay na ito." He distantly said.

"Yeah. Selena is one hell of a bitch." Mas kinabahan si Wreya doon. Mata-pobre ba ito?

Ano naman ngayon kung hindi ka magustuhan nun Wreya? It's not like you have a relationship with her son.

Nanliligaw pa lang si Tres sa kaniya. Maaari pang magbago ang damdamin nito sa kaniya.

And is she worried?

The hell she is!

She grown to love this man already. What's not to love? He is just a responsible man, kind and dignified. Hindi ito tumakbo pagkakilala sa mga anak nito. Instead, he took them in. Kahit nga siya ay sinusuyo nito para sa mga anak nila.

"Hindi na po kami magtatagal Ninang. Thank you po." Tumayo na sila at nakigbeso si Tres sa Ninang nito. Laking gulat nalang din niya nang bineso din siya nito.

"Take good care of him too." Bulong nito sa kaniya na ikinagulat niya. Pero agad din naman siyang nakabawi. Napatango na lang siya.

"Hey kids, we're going!" Tawag ni Tres sa mga ito.

Agad naman lumapit ang mga bata at humalik sa grandma Ninang nila.

"They are so cute! Namimiss ko na tuloy ang mga apo ko."

"That's why you should follow them Ninang. Reina encouraged you to live with them".

"Oh, isa ka pa. I am not that old para magresign. Maybe when after 10 years I will. Hindi rin naman talaga ganoon nakakamiss kasi may Video call na. I can call and see them virtually whenever I want."

"That's good to hear Ninang. Tell Ninong I will visit him one of these days."

"I will. Tiyak na matutuwa iyon."

Umalis na nga sila. They have to stop at the drug store to buy the vitamins and milk of the kids. Matapos ay umuwi na din sila.

Since maaga silang umuwi si  Wreya na ang nagluto para sa hapunan nila.

"Are you upset?" A voice from behind asked her. Naghuhugas siya ng gulay sa lababo kaya napatingin agad siya dito.

"No. Why?"

Lumapit sa kaniya si Tres. Nakabihis na rin ito ng pambahay.

"I didn't tell my Mom yet for a specific reason."

Napatigil si Wreya sa pag-aayos ng mga ingredients.

So he did took notice of her earlier.

"It's okay I understand." She took a deep sigh. Sinasabi na nga niya.
"Pero hindi mo naman siguro itatago ang mga bata sa pamilya mo?" She asked, uncertain.

"No! No of course not. What do you mean by that?" He asked, unknowing of the turmoil she feels inside.

"I mean, it's okay if they will not accept me. Kahit ang mga bata nalang sana ay matanggap man lang nila."

"Jesus, Hon. I didn't mean it like that." Nilapitan siya nito at hinawakan sa magkabilang balikat.

"Well, I don't know what to think, Tres."

"I'm sorry if I sent you mixed signals of the situation. But, the truth is my mother is the most kind person I know. At hindi ko ito sinasabi dahil ina ko siya, but even other people can attest to that."

"Pero bakit kung magsalita ka ay parang nakakatakot ang Mama mo?"

"Well that is because she is scary in another way. She has been sending me off on dates a hundred times already. What she didn't know is that I already have three kids." Napangisi si Tres sa isiping iyon. Just thinking how his mother will take this news, well, he couldn't imagine.

"Masaya ka na niyan?" Panunuya ni Wreya at nakangiti.

"What can I say? I am a proud parent."

Lumayo si Wreya kay Tres na natatawa pa rin. Tinapos na niya ang pagluluto ng ulam.

"Before I inform my parents about this, I want to have a serious relationship with their mother." Napahinto si Wreya sa ginagawa. Parang nanlamig siya sa narinig. "I want us to be introduced to my family as a family. I am serious about this, Hon."

Hindi magawang magsalita ni Wreya sa panahong iyon.

"Please. Will you give me a chance to prove it?"
