The second we took off, we started chasing the helicopter, which was surprisingly extremely fast, almost faster than the plane. We had been flying for five hours straight. Sloan had insisted that I needed some medical treatment, and I agreed. Somehow, deep inside, I knew that this mission might very well be my last. But even if it is, I'm gonna make sure I kill that bastard Darren for what he's done.
The helicopter descended through the clouds very hurriedly.
"Chase it! And don't lose it, no matter what!" I told Sloan in the pilot's seat.
He nodded. "Aye, sir," he said with a grin.
I felt the plane curve downwards. I stumbled. The drop was a lot steeper than I had anticipated.
"Uh, Toby," Sloan gulped. "I think you'd need to see this."
I walked up to the cockpit and my jaw dropped.
The helicopter was heading towards a massive island that clearly wasn't natural. First Civilization ruins.
"Dammit, they beat us to another precursor site," I slammed my fist into the other chair. "I assume they've found something important?"
"Looks like it, judging by them sending their leader here personally."
"So there'll be tons of Templars down there...great."
"C'mon, at least we'll be able to severely damage their leadership, and as a bonus we'll have a huge First Civ island to use against what's left of them."
"Good point," I turn to the remaining assassins in the back of the plane. "Okay everybody. Awake?"
I got a nod of approval from everyone.
"Excellent. So in case you didn't figure out already, we're going down to the island."
Jack looked at me funny. "To do what exactly?"
I smirked. "Our job. Kill Templars."
