I turned the corner and froze, dead in my tracks. It was them, the boys I used to drool over when I was seventeen. All of them, standing in front of me. I was completely frozen, they all turned and looked at me when Niall saw me and ran over and kissed me on the cheek. I snapped back to reality, and was able to force myself to talk.

“Oh, uh, hi,” I said, cautiously waving to everyone.

“Well, I’m assuming you already know all them but this is Zayn, Louis, Liam and Harry.” Niall said as pointing to every guy.

I laughed awkwardly and said “Hi.”

“This is Zayn’s wife, Perrie, Louis’ wife, El, Liam’s wife, Danielle and..oh! That’s Louis’ cousin Madison.” I stood there in complete awe of their beauty. The shock was beginning to fade and I was able to become my normal self.

“You all look so beautiful!” I said to all the girls. Each of them was wearing a nice dress, a rush relief flowed over me as I realized I was dressed appropriately.

“So do you love! Where did you get that dress?!” Perrie said enthusiastically as she ran over to me. I laughed awkwardly and said “Honestly? Target.” I was beginning to calm down as Perrie laughed and said “That’s awesome! I never would have thought that!” Niall walked back over and properly introduced me to everyone “Guys, this is Rosemarie! Be nice to her!” Everyone smiled at me and laughed, then continued with their conversations. I wasn’t sure who to talk to or what to do until I heard Danielle call me over to the couch, where all the girls were chatting.

“Hi Rosemarie! Come sit down with us, lets chat.” El said to me as I walked over.

“So how did you and Niall meet?” Madison chimed in.

“Well, I was at one of my favorite coffee shops and I saw Niall there. To be honest, I was a huge One Direction fan when I was a teenager so when I saw him I freaked and ran out of the building,” the girls started to giggle as I told my story “but I never actually left, I just sat outside on a bench. Then I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, they handed me a twenty-dollar bill and said I dropped it when I ran out. I finally looked up and it was Niall! We sat and talked for a little while, we really hit it off and he asked me to dinner.”

“Well, that explains the shock on your face when you walked in today!” Danielle laughed. I returned the laughter and we continued to talk for a few minutes when the boys came over to talk to us. I excused myself before everyone sat down because I needed to use the bathroom.

I walked down the hallway towards the bathroom but had to wait when I realized someone was in. I wasn’t sure whom though, I thought everyone was on the couches when I left but I guess not.

I heard the door of the bathroom jiggle as the person on the other side was opening it. The hallway was dark so when the person opened the door and took a few steps ahead they ran right into me.

“Oh! I’m sorry love!” It took me a second but I recognized the voice, it was Harry.

“Oh I’m okay, don’t worry,” I laughed awkwardly as he grabbed my arms in order to keep us from both falling over. Harry looked at me and smiled, “You’re Rosemarie, right?”

“Yes and you’re Harry?”

“Yes, I’m Harry. So are you Niall, like, a couple?” Harry put his hands in his pockets and leaned against the wall across from me. His question stumped me though. Niall and I never really mentioned if we were in a relationship. It has just been very relaxed pretty much.

“Uh, well, kinda. We haven’t really specified that yet.” I laughed. Harry laughed with me. I noticed his dimples that I used to find so adorable when I was a teenager, but there was something different about them now, something more masculine. I suddenly felt very attracted to Harry, I caught myself starting into his intriguing green eyes. I managed to snap out of the trance Harry’s eyes were putting me under when he said “Well, Niall’s a good guy. You can’t really go wrong with him.”

I saw the happiness from Harry’s eyes fade slowly when I said “Oh, yeah, he’s great.”

“Well, I’ll, uh, let you go. See you out there?” He said sticking his thumb in the direction of the living room.

“Yeah,” I smiled back to him, but as I turned to head to the bathroom and Harry turned towards the living room he turned around.

“Hey, Rosemarie, it was, uh, great to meet you,” he said and winked then turned and walked away.
