Looking all over town; dumpsters, back ally's that are blocked off to the public -dark, musky, filled with trash bags that have who knows what in- broken in cars that are stripped of everything, camp sites, underground holes. Until RJ senses a lead; grabbing a couple men he goes to an abandoned house. Tearing the wood that was drilled to the window and climbing in. He checks every room of the house with the men on his heel. Then he tries the lights finding he was able to jump them on with a few tools he had with him and a couple pieces of metal he had found.
The house was beautiful, a little bit of work put into it and it could be worth a lot. A classic layout that opened up into the kitchen from the dinning room. He makes his way to the upstairs where the person obviously was too lazy to clean because there was junk thrown EVERYWHERE. Walking carefully over stuff; his senses getting stronger with every step. One of the men following him from a few feet back. The other moved a box and a rat came running out. RJ opens the last room and sees me sitting there.
"What are you doing? You think I'm really gonna let you just leave?"
"No" I reply through my teeth, half mad that he found me and half happy to see him.
"Get up please sis, I'm sorry if I upset you. I want to go home with"
"This is my home now!"
"Sis." He says as he walks to the door shaking his head.
I begin to get up as I hear him going down the stairs yelling "wait up bro!"
He turns around and smiles at me grabbing my bag and helping me climb down the stairs.
