I could still smell it. The musk, and wood. The smell of smoke. It drifted in and around my hair. It was imbedded in my throat and in my nose. It won't go away. I leaned my head against the cool glass window of the train. I've been trying for days to keep my mind blank. Try to erase the images from my memory. My phone buzzed. I opened the lock screen to see a text from my uncle.
*I'm at the station* My uncle Chris Argent was now my new guardian. I lost my family a few weeks ago, but the smoke smell had refused to fade. I locked my phone again. The last time I had seen the Argents was during Victoria's funeral. And now I'll be seeing him only months after the death if Allison.
So much death... I kept my mind busy, watching the scenery roll by, without a word, without a glance. I was casted away like the moon. The fields reminded me of the farm. The open space, the heat from the sun caressed my skin like hands. I began to drift

The wheat danced under my fingers. I was running. I was being chased. I ran through smoke, fog. The sun was so bright. Mid day? Mid sunset? Voices murged into muddled waters. I couldn't hear their words. The voices became louder. But I was still running, the haze was fading, I stood and watched. Silence. Nothing. Childish giggles erupted around me. Child like cry's. And screams."....cass..." I yanked around. The fog was fading, but still thick. My throat began to close. "...Casss...." the voice moved in circles around me. I was surrounded. "...Cass!.." it was louder, the fog began to move, to circle me like a tornado. Moving and swirling. My eyes grew wet, my heart pounding.
"cas."
"cass."
"Cas."
"Stop!" I crier out. "Stop!" "Cass." the voices were different now. Children's voices, men's voices, woman's voices. "Stop!!" tears rolled down my face, the tornando around me yanked at my hair and clothes. I sank to my knees. "Please Stop!!!" Then it all stopped. My head in my hands. I opened my eyes to look at the clear view of sight. My breath was taken away. A few yards from me their was a house. Suspended in the air. On fire. The screams and crys boomed through me. The sound tore at my body, causing me to scream. It hurt. The flames licked my arms and legs. The fire had turned the house black as charcole. The organge was stark in comparison. My skin melted like wax.
"Cassio!" they all screamed.

My body jumped in my seat. Sending my whole body is a rush. My heart was pumping and my skin was in cold sweat. The train had come to a stop. People were looking at me, giving me weird stares. I gripped the seat and took a deep breath. "calm down cas." I told myself.
I sat up, And looked out the windows. I could see Chris standing out in stark. I didn't think, I lifted my body, grabbed my luggage, and walked off the train. My skin began to burn.
