My body was robbed of its senses. I was left numb, running blind. Smoke filled my lungs, strangling me. Fighting to breathe, to see. All I could hear was screams.

"Cass!" The strangled screams surrounded me. I ran blindly through the house, my body hitting every wall, "Cass!" several different voices played racket ball in m skull. "Help!" the voices screamed. My lungs screamed for air, to breathe. I continued to run down the hall, the wood walls burned with heat. I ran forward into a solid surface. A body. I wrapped my arms around the body in front of me. My chared fingers tangled in locks of curly hair. Hera. "Hera" I whispered. But she couldn't speak. Blood was bubbling from her lips. Her pale skin was covered in black smuges, from the ash and burning wood. "Hera!" I screamed. Her apperence sent me into a frenzy. Her big hazel eyes looked at me like a deer in headlights. "C-c-caa-" she choked on her own blood. I looked at her body. Her night clothes were soaked in blood, there were bite wounds up and down her legs and arms. And three long gashes along her throat. Blood was pouring over her chest and over my torso. I wrapped my hand over her throat gashes to stop the bleeding. "Hera! Don't you die!" I screamed. Her eyes widened and she screamed. The blood bubbling on her lips scattered over my face. Her scream penetrated past my skin, deep into my bones, sending shocking vibrations through me. Her screech echoed in my head, pain richoshed around my skull. I looked down to her in shock, her eyes and mouth wide, blood pouring from her mouth, her eyes began to change shades of hazel. Her auburn hair was slick with blood and burning wood embers. Her doe eyes went blank and her body went limp. Her blood was still flowing down my arms and hands. "Hera! No!" I screamed till my voice went hoarse. "Someone help!" I heard footsteps approach me. I looked up at the body washed in black stand over me. "Nobody's going to help you...You disgrace." I looked up dumbfounded and they walked away. I held Hera's body as the house burned. My home burned.

I woke up in a pool of sweat. Smoke and ash filled my nose, my body trembled. I flew out of my bed and into the closet. Hera's scream took over me, I began to scream, to get it out. I clawed at my head and arms. "Get out!!". Before I knew it Chris burst through the door. I was crumpled in the closet floor. Chris pulled me out and held me close to him. "Calm down Cassio." I was screaming. "Its just a dream." he whispered. "No!" I sobbed. "It was a memory! I watched them die! I watched her die!" I hiccuped. Tears spilled down my face. Chris held me tighter. "I know Cassio. I know."
