Dear Seokjin Kim,

Hello!
It has been so long since you wrote that last letter. I never heard from you again. I got a little worried when you didn't answer the letters I sent to your home address. I'm thinking you didn't receive them since you said you will not go back.
I didn't go back either. The last thing I wanted was seeing the judgmental faces of our neighbors and I'm sure they already know everything that's going on in our lives since my mom couldn't stop complaining to any person who would want to listen.
The postcard you sent me from the city you're in was a relief. Why didn't you mention the address of the place you were going to stay in earlier?
Anyway; I'm not sending this to scold or complain.
You sent me that postcard just in time. I'm almost finished with my studies and I only have one semester to go. Three years went by really quickly and with my calculations, your studies are also almost over.
My professor had us do a whole project for our graduation scores. This project helps evaluate us and determines if we have enough knowledge to have any degree at all. I did some things and I realized something was lacking.
I invited my parents but they said that they wouldn't come to see how their son is bringing shame to the family, pursuing art.
But even if they accepted, I still would've felt like there was something missing; someone, to be precise.
So, this long letter is basically an invitation for you to come visit me, if you can. Please.
I Know that I have been rather cruel to you all these years, not replying to your letters and making you feel small. I know that I haven't been the best friend and partner. But if there was one thing I would ask of you, one last favor, it would be this. I'd be very happy to reunite with you after all these years. I'll write the exact address on the envelope.
