Y/n's POV
ᴄᴏʟᴏʀ ᴡᴀʀ
Waking up was hell; I didn't get much sleep at all, but it was so worth it, if I'm being honest. I hastily dressed and made my way out of the cabin, heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and dread. As I stepped into the morning light, I immediately spotted Caitlyn with her clique. They were all glaring at me, and before I could react, they were shouting, "You!"
Panic surged through me, and I instinctively turned and ran. Their angry shouts echoed behind me, but soon an arm caught me, yanking me backward. I fell hard, looking up to see Jonas and Caitlyn standing over me, surrounded by her group.
"You're gonna hang, witch," Jonas sneered as they bound my wrists with rough rope and dragged me towards a nearby tree.
Fear churned in my stomach as they hoisted me up. "Let me go!" I yelled, struggling against the tight bindings. Caitlyn approached, a malicious smile twisting her features.
"Do you know what they do to witches?" she taunted, holding a lighter ominously close to my arm. "They burn them."
"No, Caitlyn, please!" I pleaded desperately, adrenaline flooding my veins.
"Don't do this!" My voice cracked with fear as the flame touched my skin, searing agony coursing through me. I cried out in pain, the smell of burning flesh filling the air.
Suddenly, shouts pierced the tense atmosphere. "What the hell is this?! Put her down!" It was Rodrick and Nick, rushing towards us. I was dropped unceremoniously to the ground, tears streaming down my face as I saw Derek's furious expression.
"Tell me what happened," Derek demanded, his voice a dangerous edge.
"I was coming back to my cabin, and I saw writing on my bed. Y/n was running away," Caitlyn explained swiftly, but her words felt like lies burning my ears.
"Because you were chasing me!" I interjected, my voice trembling with raw emotion.
"Y/n! You talk when I tell you to talk," Derek snapped, his authority cutting through the chaos.
"Did you see her do it?" Rodrick asked the group, his tone sharp.
"Everyone did," Jonas declared, echoed by Caitlyn's friends.
"Alright," Derek said, turning his gaze back to me. "That's it. Five strikes and you're out. Go call Mom."
"I'm out? They just tried to murder me!" I protested, disbelief and fear mixing in my voice.
"Yeah, and I'll deal with them. But first, get to the camp office and call Mom because you're done at Camp Night," Derek insisted, his disappointment palpable.
"I didn't do it," I muttered, feeling the weight of injustice crushing me.
Derek sighed heavily. "Oh yeah? Just like you didn't set the flag on fire, accuse counselors of bullying you, start fights, release the camp rabbits, or even graffiti an outhouse! I warned you."
"Derek, it's not her fault, really. She's just possessed by Sarah Fier," Caitlyn chimed in with a smirk, further enraging me.
"Oh! You—" Rodrick grabbed my arms, and I struggled against his grip.
"Hey! Hey!" Derek and Rodrick shouted simultaneously. Rodrick glanced at Nick.
"How about we just let this slide? It's almost the end of camp anyway. Plus, someone is going to ask about the burn on her arm. Then who's in trouble?" Nick suggested calmly.
