Y/n's Pov

ᴄᴏʟʀ ᴡᴀʀ

Derek loomed over me, and instinctively, I scrambled to my feet to escape. But his presence was relentless; he closed in on me swiftly. "AHHH!" I shrieked, fear gripping my throat as he kicked me, sending me crashing to the ground. My heart pounded as I saw his axe raised high. "No!" I cried out desperately.

Suddenly, Derek froze mid-motion, his attention diverted. "Fuck you! Cheating prick!" Cindy's enraged voice filled the air, punctuated by the sound of her stabbing him repeatedly. With a heavy thud, Derek collapsed to the floor.

Cindy rushed to me, pulling me into a tight embrace. "I'm so sorry," she whispered, her eyes full of regret.

"It's okay. I just wanted to save you. Derek was an absolute asshole, and now he's a killer," I murmured, trying to steady my breathing.

"He's cursed us all. Shadyside is cursed," Cindy muttered, shaking her head grimly.

She held up something in her hand. "What's that?" I asked quietly, noticing it.

She nodded solemnly. Without another word, we left the room and found a table to sit at. As I sat down, I felt a trickle of blood from my nose, a recurring issue lately. Suddenly, a vision flashed before my eyes, unsettling me.

"I-I bled on the hand," I stammered, clutching Cindy's arm.

"Who did you see?" Cindy asked, her brow furrowing in concern.

"The witch. She looked angry," I muttered, shivering involuntarily.

"We have to bury this thing right now," Cindy warned urgently. Just then, Derek's voice echoed from afar, accompanied by eerie singing.

"What was that?" I asked, panic rising in my chest.

Cindy's face went pale. "Run! Let's go!" She grabbed shovels, and we fled to the tree where I had hung earlier.

As we dug frantically, surrounded by looming figures in the darkness, I hit something solid. "I hit something!" I exclaimed, heart racing with hope that we might finally end the curse.

We pulled out a rock with ominous inscriptions. "The witch forever lives," I read aloud, dread settling in my stomach.

"What does this mean?" I demanded, but Cindy's expression mirrored my confusion.

"Where's her body, Cindy?" I pleaded, desperation creeping into my voice.

"I don't know!" Cindy cried, tears welling up in her eyes.

Peering through the trees, we saw figures approaching. "This way, come on!" Cindy urged, pulling me away from the grave.

Derek charged towards us, flanked by others wielding weapons. "What do you want, Sarah Fier?" Cindy yelled defiantly, holding up the cursed hand.

"You bled on the bone. They're after you. Get ready to run," Cindy warned urgently, her eyes locking with mine.

"No, Cindy, no!" I protested weakly, frozen in fear. But she pushed me towards safety.

In the chaos, Derek swung his axe at Cindy, and she crumpled to the ground. I watched in horror, paralyzed by shock, until pain seared through my side. "AHH!" I screamed, feeling the sharp jabs of a blade.

As I collapsed, I saw Cindy being relentlessly attacked. Blood pooled around us, and I felt consciousness slipping away, thunder echoing in my ears.

Rodrick's POV

Finally spotting y/n, I rushed to her side. She was covered in blood, barely conscious. I performed CPR desperately, pleading with her to stay with me. "Hey, hey, don't die on me!" I begged, my heart pounding.

I heard a faint gasp, and y/n's eyes fluttered open, breathing heavily. Scooping her into my arms, I carried her towards the ambulance, her breathing labored and weak.

Y/n's POV

As Rodrick held me close in the ambulance, tears streamed down my face. "Derek did this," I whispered hoarsely to him, grasping his hand tightly.

"I know. He's killed so many," Rodrick murmured, his voice filled with sorrow.

Nick and Ziggy approached us, their faces etched with concern and bloodstains. "Thank God you're safe," Ziggy said, tears mingling with the blood on her face.

"It's the witch. She cursed my brother. It's real," I explained, but Nick's reaction puzzled me. He shook his head at me and walked away with an officer, leaving me bewildered.
