Another headcanon woooooOOOOOOOO

I changed a small bit on this one since I was unhappy about it before.

So.. Cooking am I right? Well, here's my take on how good they are at it + what they're like when they cook with you, their S/O!

I'll be honest I dunno why this came to mind at the time but let's get into it-

This man can cook to put it simply.

But does he do it well?

Well, there are two ways that Gordon cooks.

He either cooks something safe and homely and nails it perfectly, or he tries something new and instantly fails then never tries again-

When he cooks something correctly though it's the absolute bomb. It's one of those dishes you could have multiple of even if you have a small appetite.

When it comes to cooking with his S/O, he does feel a great amount of comfort when you cook with him, even if neither of you has any idea what you're doing at one point.

You two end up laughing about it after depending on how it turns out.

He has a bad habit of beating himself up when he messes up badly, some affection will make him feel better about the mess most of the time though.

ALSO!

He wants to teach Joshua how to cook but at the same time is scared to let him get near sharp objects. He nearly had a panic attack when Joshua got a small boo-boo on his finger.

You ended up being the one who had to patch him up while Gordon tried not to faint-

All in all, Gordon tries his best and sometimes doesn't succeed, but that's okay :)

Harold has lived for longer than you of course he can cook-

He's mostly average when it comes to cooking, similar to Gordon it's really homely.

Sadly, due to drinking strange liquids at Black Mesa (You know what I'm talking about.), he has burned his taste buds a little.
So sometimes the seasoning is off, luckily you're there to help with correcting him.

Plus it's not drastically off-seasoning like a mountain of pepper or salt.

Oh, and as his S/O, be aware of when he tries to flip something in a pan.
If he doesn't watch his strength the food will flip, but it'll go to fucking Pluto and never be seen again-

So for you and his safety, don't encourage him to show off. If he says he's going to do it anyway, get out of that room for your safety.

Though for the record these incidents have never gotten you or him into any actual harm so far, just a broken window or two...
